I would first off like to apologize to a Lowes worker at the Salisbury store. I believe her name tag said Patty or Patricia? I didn’t get a good look at it because half of it was covered. She is an elderly woman with a visible disability the only employee they had at the self check out line, who was doing a wonderful job assisting people. I have had so many bad experiences with trying to get help from employees this past year at Lowe’s, I was prepared for another. The cash register I was at stop working and a light came on. She came with a smile and said, “Give me a second and you we’ll be out of here”. I was irritated, not at her, just the situation. She finished up and told me to have a good day. I know she could tell I was upset by the way I was acting. I grabbed my bags and walked towards the door. I thought to myself she had nothing to do with the times I had to load sheet rock, cabinets, plywood etc. by my self because no employee would help me. I turned around went up to her and asked her if I could give her a hug. I told her I was sorry and she was doing a wonderful job. She told me thank you and that was very nice of Me. She is someone Lowes should use for training new employees. I have no reason to lie. I have asked employees for help and waited for so long that I ended up finding a ladder to get the item I needed down myself. I have loaded 20 sheets of plywood by myself after asking for help at least 3 different times. I can go on and even provide pictures of me getting and using that ladder, loading sheet rock and loading Cabinets with no help. I wanting to tell that woman she is doing something special by providing the best costumer service I have experienced at Lowe’s. Thank you

Lowe's can be a great place to shop. They have knowledgeable and helpful staff that often goes above and beyond. They have staff that provide expert advice whenever I have a question with specific items. This is important when I need to make minor fixes on my home. However, there are many frustrating issues and some items with quality issues and return windows.

Very disappointed! I ordered a refrigerator that was supposed to be delivered today. They gave me a delivery window of 8:30-12:30 and then just randomly changed the delivery to Monday.

I bought washer and dryer stacked. The sales person told me I needed 2 cords and the one that I didn’t need I could return. After bringing the appliance into the house they tell me I need to use an extension cord to use it and have to have an electrician put in the right voltage. At 80 years old I wish they would have told me to check to see what kind of voltage I had. I didn’t think an electrical extension was a good idea. I feel sales people should be more informed of what u need.

I put Lowes on my store of last resort months ago due the forced self checkout. Lowes store is very close to me but I will go to Ace or the Depot first. Yesterday I had an emergency as the landscape guy broke my water line. Went to Ace but they did not have the PVC fitting I needed, so due to the emergency nature of the problem I went to Lowes. At Lowes I went to the PVC area only to find it fence off. No one was working in the area so I went around th barrier and picked my fitting. As I was walking to checkout an employee chastised by for going aro7nd the barrier. I asked why was the aisle blocked off when no one was working the area. No answer. Got to the kiosk and entered my phone number as I am retired military and previously register with Lowes. My my name pops up and the attendant wants to see my ID. I show her my military ID, not good enough wants to see my drivers license, show her my license, not good enough she wants me to take it out of my wallet so she can see the back. Mint you I am buying a 3 dollar fitting. This is a prime example of Lowes not being customer freindly.

Lowes delivered a new fridge. It works great. They did not remove the old fridge. They left it on my lawn. I'm not happy. They tell me that they'll remove it for a price. This was not mentioned at the sale.

I'll tell you how Lowe's can make Lowe's happy and the customers.. By changing online delivery policy and charges! l needed to replace my hand held grinder and went online to Lowe's. Found a DeWalt that would work fine for $79.99. my vehicle is broke down so I needed delivered. Why? Would I pay $79.99 for grinder and pay another $79.99 for shipping? $159.98 for a grinder? WOW! So I went on online Amazon and same grinder same price free shipping in receive it in 5 days. So went online Home Depot same grinder same price 2 day delivery free shipping....

normally our go to store , we bought a medium purchase today and our check was refused so we used our bank card which is basically the same form of payment. It appears that Lowes has a cash flow problem .The low labor force is very good at helping but they cannot contiune to serve the community at this point asking their customers to pay in cash or debit. ....I imagine they will be closed by the fall.
