I went to buy 50 feet of wire. Lowes price $177.00. The exact wire on Amazon is $66.00. Lowes is a rip off i order from Amazon. When I am buying anything at Lowes I check Amazon price to make sure Lowes is not ripping me off.

I bought kitchen and bathroom cabinets from Lowes. Luckily I didn’t use their installers or countertop people as both were non responsive. The Cabot’s came wrong and missing pieces but our installers fixed the problems at our cost. It took 6 months to get some pieces that were missing. Then we discovered half the drawers had the right guide hardware and half had the wrong hardware. After 5 months the manufacturer sent us the right hardware but Lowes refused to get it installed. Please don’t use them for any half way large project

Ordered a gas dryer and an LP conversion kit, dryer came dented and no conversion kit on the delivery truck. This was the second time there was a screw up with my deliveries, the first time it was with a dishwasher we ordered that came without the hookup that was ordered with it I refused the dryer because of damage and missing parts, I will never order from Lowe’s again.

I placed my kitchen order on September 3rd, and since then the project has been delayed repeatedly with no proper communication from Lowe’s. I reviewed the kitchen on October 27th after receiving an inspector, who informed me—only at that time—that electrical work needed to be completed urgently so installation could begin. I was never told this earlier. Installation finally started on November 3rd, but the installers stopped working without notifying me. Since that day, I have repeatedly tried to call and communicate with Lowe’s, but the issue has not been properly resolved. I was later informed that missing parts were ordered and will not arrive until December 8th . This means that from September 3rd until December, almost nothing has been completed. My home has been left in poor condition, and I cannot continue any other work in my house until the kitchen is finished. This causes me to lose the labor I already hired and forces me to find additional contractors, which increases costs. With two children and one dog, we have been forced to order food from outside because we have no kitchen. This is unhealthy, extremely expensive, and has caused tremendous stress for my family. My high-school son has been unable to concentrate on his studies because of the chaotic environment. My dog has been confined to a single room due to the damage and unsafe conditions in the house.Lowe’s has refused to refund the money so that I can hire another contractor to finish the kitchen as soon as possible. We have been living in this difficult condition for months, and now until December 5th with no resolution.

Local stores are ok to deal with nothing great . But if you call their 1-855 phone for customer service it is a nightmare !! None of them knows what they are doing and they are all extremely dumb and lazy ! Only go there because it’s closer to us . But no need to do business with them unless you have to .

I ordered a Christmas tree through Lowe’s, with next day delivery. At 8:10 in the morning of the delivery day, I get a text saying that I am the next delivery to be made. At 10:45, I called Lowe’s to ask what the holdup is and they tell me that they will be there in 30 to 40 minutes. At 3 o’clock, I called Lowe’s back to let them know. I have not received my delivery, and they say I am the very next one in line. At 7 PM I called Lowe’s and they tell me that their delivery service has gone home for the night, so I called the main store to talk to a manager and was put on hold for 32 minutes, at which time I hung up. At that time, I pulled up my order information, as I had done all day long, and it says my delivery is delayed. There is no excuse for me not getting a phone call from somebody to tell me that my delivery was delayed and to explain to me why it was delayed. I paid for the next day service. This is the second time I’ve had horrible delivery service from Lowe’s. There won’t be a third because I will be using another store. 😡

Be informed people Lowe’s is the worst place to buy any electrical or chain saw . They are are evil and liers and will tell you that you can return the damage item with 30 days and when something does not work even little over 48 hours they will not return or refund you for bad or damage items Customer service and management is rude and have no communication skills at all . They rip you off with damage merchandise and have no accountability to help or refund you . Stay away from this store 👎🏿 I bought the chain saw and on first try the chain broke and little over 48 hours I went to return and the chainsaw and they said it’s over 48 hours and can’t take back even though the chain broke and almost damaged my eyes. They have courtesy for nothing. They give falls information about returns. stay away from this company.

I had a great experience with SWIFT Truck Rentals. The booking process was simple, the trucks were clean and well-maintained, and pickup and return were quick. Their customer support was responsive and professional throughout. Definitely a reliable option for anyone needing a rental truck.

Do not do a big project with Lowes. Horrible communication and customer service. Spent $6000 on countertop projects and did not show up in Lowes Rewards. See who they use for manufacturing and installation and work directly with them.

First isn't LOWES a major international company? I went to a Lowes looking for four 6' vinyl fence and they had them on sale but they just sold the last one so me checked with another store 12 miles away and they had them so I called and ordered them for the next morning and then I hired a guy with a pickup to meet me at that Lowes and they brought them out after I waited for a hour plus put them on the truck and went to pay and they were a lot more them the price at the other Lowes so we got the manager and he said that the price at the other store was just for that Lowes I said I don't understand isn't Lowes Lowes and we had to unload them off the truck and leave without them and they didn't offer to make any kind of a concession, so before I left I called Lowes home office and got a really nice women who yry to explain the rules and then she said if you go to the Lowes website and read company policies you will see that Lowes doesn't guarantee the same prices at all of its stores in other words it's called a loophole in small print and I said who in he'll reads store policies before shopping, nobody, so I went back to the first Lowes and they were really nice and they were willing to make some sort of compensation but they didn't have any six footers in any other brand! And this billion dollar won't allow anybody in the entire company to keep its WORD, the worst thing I didn't make the mistake LOWES did and then they used a loophole to sleeze out of it!

Bought two exterior sliding doors with install. Install team never showed , said their delivery truck couldn’t accommodate the door height even though they measured the doors. The next day Lowe’s was to deliver doors , they came without the doors, thought they were picking up a washer/dryer! Doors eventually delivered, the installers bumped back my install by a month. I called three times to no avail. I cancelled and will have someone else install. Do not recommend Lowe’s are the Crume company they use to install. Avoid the headache. Terrible! Read the reviews

Going to Lowes is like going to a haunted house-you can sense the presence of employees, but you feel like you have to have a seance to find one. Even if you do see one, trying to track them down is like trying to find Bigfoot. Ala in all, its a paranormal experience.

After 3 weeks, still no i install date for a single exterior door. They haven't even pulled the permit yet! Absolutely the worst I have ever experienced for a store/company for installation. I wish I had gone to Home Depot, next time I will.

We needed a new leaf blower. Lowe's had one at what seemed like a good price. It was impossible to locate. The bay number listed for this product was not to be found. Someone finally realized it was on the top of one of their product display shelves that could only be reached with a ladder. But it wasn't there either. It was on top, just not in the correct place. Finally having it in our hands, we needed to check out as quickly as possible to keep on schedule. We didn't read the small print telling us that the battery was sold separately. Needless to say, no one cared if we knew that or not. Most likely, they didn't know either. It was listed at a good price. The additional $50 for the battery destroyed that advantage. It will be returned. I don't know why I keep shopping there. Really need to support my local hardware store.

I purchased a lg stove and micro on Sept. 15. Your next day delivery came on sept 26, and the microwave came on Oct. 4. After the stove was installed I noticed a gas smell.Called toldthem my issue and they sent the same 2 "delivery" guys who tighted stuff and left. I call again getting the desk. Explained my situation to her, she said I would hear from manager before noon....three days ago! I had a local repair man come and he informed me that when delivery connected they loosened the valve he changed and never checked the basement connection! I had a ga s leak for 8 days.. Thank god we did'nt wait on The manager to help. Fom what I see is Lowes has 0 concern for the customers who keep their open! I could have blown up. It will be a very, very long time before I buy anything from them again. I spent over $1500.00 . So. I PAID alot to Lowes to pay a repair man to save our lives. They're not worth my business. And will am sharing my experience with everyone I talk to,........

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent Lowe's experience and will never shop here again. I ordered plants online, and they arrived completely dead. What should have been a simple return turned into an absolute nightmare. I contacted customer support to arrange a return pickup, but no one showed up. I called again, scheduled another pickup – again, no one came. When I called for the THIRD time, the agent said she would "escalate" it yet again. At this point, I'd had enough of going in circles and asked to speak with a manager. Instead of helping me, she transferred me to a generic 1-800 number. The complete lack of accountability and follow-through is unacceptable. Dead plants, three failed pickups, and zero resolution. This experience has proven why Home Depot is far superior. This was my first purchase from Lowe's, and it will absolutely be my last. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

I purchased a 26kw Generac Generator with installation from Lowe’s on November 22, 2024. The installation company, Premier Construction, sent out their man to look at the job and to see what would be needed. I live in the country and have three meter bases served by one meter on the power pole. One for the house, one for the garage, and one for the barn. The representative from Premier said that there wouldn’t be a problem, but that they would probably need to have two load managers on the system for the spa and Jacuzzi so that the generator wouldn’t be overloaded when starting. On January 9, 2025 they came out to install the generator. When they completed the wiring for the generator and filling open slots in the breaker box for the house, they said they were done. They did not install any load managers. I asked what about the gas hook-up and they said the company would contact me for that. On the night of January 11, the main beaker box for the house shorted out. Apparently one of the bus bars was knocked loose by forcing a breaker onto the bar by the Premier crew. I tried to contact Premier by phone and email and got no response. I had to kill the power to the house to keep it from catching fire. The following morning, Sunday, I had to get a new breaker box and have it installed. I contacted Lowe’s on Monday and was told they would contact the contractor. Premier denied that they had even touched the box. I told them they needed to look at their before and after pictures of the box that they had worked on. On January 16 they came out to hook up the gas to the generator. They didn’t have what they needed; they were short of copper tubing and fittings. They come back the next day and still didn’t have what they needed. They had to go back to town to get what was missing. After the gas got hooked up and they tried to run the generator, it would run but not go into standby mode. They left with the generator turned off. On January 20, I contacted Lowe’s via email because no one would answer the phone at installation made easy, about the breaker box issues, the generator not working, and the mobile link not working. I still had no response from Lowe’s by January 25. On January 27, I contacted Premier and he stated that this is not his issue and I needed to contact Lowe’s. Lowe’s told me to contact Premier. On February 16 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I heard from Lowe’s Executive Customer Relations the same day. On Feb. 17 I informed Lowe’s ECR about all of the issues so far. He said they would make sure everything was made right and wanted me to close out the BBB complaint. The state inspector came out and failed the install for the way the wiring was done, no load managers, and no bonding between the breaker boxes. On Feb 22, Lowe’s sent me a request for payment. The BBB was updated on numerous occasions throughout this process and every time, Lowe’s ECR would request that I close out the complaint. Through March and April, Premier would come out and try to make the corrections to be able to pass the inspection. The Load managers that were put in initially were too small for the load. When the 100 amp load managers were put in, they hummed constantly and got very hot. On May 16 I took pictures of the load managers with a thermal imaging camera and sent them to Premier. I contacted Generac about the load managers humming and being hot and was told that they should not hum or get that hot. I contacted Lowe’s ECR again and sent him the pictures. I was told that they were told that it was normal. On June 6 I again contacted Generac about the load managers and was again told that it was not normal. They said the contacts could be set in an open or closed mode and should not hum or heat up. They gave me the contact information for 5 Generac contractors that I could contact to come out and fix the issue. I told Lowe’s ECR what Generac had told me and he said I could have the issue resolved with one of those contractors at my own expense. On June 25, five and a half months after this fiasco started, the installation passed inspection. On July 2 Lowe’s ECR contacted me and requested that I sign the installed sales release-retain warranty document. They offered to give me $600 for my trouble and for the cost of the breaker box and installation. In the document, it has a non-disparagement clause, that states you can’t say anything negative about Lowe’s or its’ contractor. I told him that I will not sign the form, because I need to leave an honest and truthful review. On July 3 he stated he would move the case to closure. On July 9, I signed the completion. So now that the project is complete, I have the generator connected to the garage and house. The barn could not be connected, so I had to have a meter placed there that will cost me about $20 a month because I use minimum power there. So far the generator is operating as it should, but the base is already unlevel, as they just pushed some dirt under the back of the pad to get it level on the install. I still have load managers that hum and are very hot, but the contractor told me all I have to do after the inspection was to turn them off. I would never recommend that anyone use Lowe’s or Premier Construction for the purchase or installation of a home generator. Premier apparently does not understand the electrical codes of Tennessee and I am not impressed at all with the quality of the work. Lowe’s customer service was nonexistent until I had to get the Better Business Bureau involved. Once I did that, it seemed to be Lowe’s main focus to get the BBB complaint closed, not resolved. Once the complaint was closed with the BBB, Lowe’s attitude changed to, sorry for your problems but deal with it. Twice during this ordeal, I tried to have Lowe’s come and take the generator back and refund my money. I was told they don’t give refunds. Buyer beware! Here it is July 20 and I am not sure when or if my warranty is in effect. I was supposed to get the five year extended warranty, it was the special at the time of purchase, but I keep getting offers from Generac to extend my warranty to 5 years. Again, I would stay away from Lowe’s and Premier Construction.

I ordered a 380 lb bathroom vanity/sink from Lowe’s. When my plumber opened the box, it was broken in half. Lowe’s told me the only way to get a refund was to personally return it to the store — even after I explained I am 62 years old, the item was far too big for my car, and I couldn’t possibly move it. They refused to help, saying it was “not their problem.” I had no choice but to pay my plumbers $450 to haul the broken vanity back to Lowe’s so I could get my money back. Now I’m left without a vanity in my condo until another one arrives from a different retailer. This was not just bad customer service — it was unreasonable. Lowe’s sold me a defective product and then made me solve the problem at my own expense. I expect better from a company of this size.
