The website says they have the saw I want. I went to 2 stores and neither had it. What a waste of time. I ordered it from Amazon, I'll have it tomorrow!

Avoid using Lowes when purchasing windows, especially if you plan on having them do the installation. I just got done with a 2 year (you read that correctly) process dealing with Lowes on the installation of 11 Pella windows and a sliding glass door. It was the worst experience I have had with any vendor or contractor ever (and I have worked with lots, as a property manager). Here's a list of things I had to deal with: -Zero communication with regard to delays cause by supply chain issues: I had to continuously call for updates in spite of promises to let me know and was continuously misled by them with regards to when windows would arrive; -When 90% of my order finally arrived, Lowes insisted on delivering it to my house (taking up a space in my garage during winter) but refused to install anything until the final piece came in (which would have been 3 months later). It took literally dozens of phone calls and arguments to get the installation done after a month a half. And when the final window came in (a large picture window), they refused to install it for another 3 months while awaiting some minor parts for windows they already put in (which took them minutes to repair). -There were 4 levels of people to deal with on installation, the store where I purchased, Lowes Installation Services Department, the independent contractor they use to hire independent installers, the team of installers hired. It is a literal maze where nobody seems to know who's in charge of what. And when there is a problem, they try to get the same team of installers to fix it, but that team also works for other contractors and may be booked out for a month or more. -The independent installers were not familiar with Pella products and lost parts, failed to install some flashing required by building code and didn't seal around one window adequately, causing a water leak and bulging new paint that I am now responsible for having to redo. -After writing the CEO and complaining after 14 months into the process, I was assigned to an Executive Customer Relations Case Manager who basically had no real authority and was just a hand holder who did some internal nagging for me but really couldn't move things along. (Remember, this was a 2 YEAR PROCESS.) -As a final insult, after promising me for 6 months that I would receive at least a 15% refund as compensation for all of their incompetence, delays, failures, and hassles, at the end, Lowes suddenly lowered that compensation offer to 4.5% and said I could take it or leave it (maybe the company is in real financial straits). Even had Lowes given me 20% back, I wish I would have purchased directly from Pella or used another contractor for installation. Lowes required me to pay up front for everything. They lured me in with good prices during a Pella sale, but any money that I saved was lost to literally hundreds of hours dealing with them. Please do yourself a favor and don't use Lowes for any kind of installation.

Went to lowes to purchase garden hose and nozzle. I got in line at the check out and the cashier cut the light off and informed me I would have to use self checkout. I ask for a manager and she just walked away. At that point I placed the items I had in my buggy on the floor and left the store. Lowes in Rock hill, SC is absolutely pitiful. Absolutely no customer service. I think if people would start boycotting these sorry a** places they may improve.

One of the most gut wrenching, frustrating experiences I have ever had with a company. Lowe’s uses a separate delivery service to deliver your items; & they hide behind each other. I purchased a refrigerator. The delivery team moved my entertainment center (on wood floors) without my knowledge. They took out the old one & brought in the new one. Made connections for water for the fridge; told me I just had to remove the plastic & tape; & he said “put a “W” here for water & “I” for ice & left. After the fact I learned that the delivery people were supposed to remove the plates & the tape, but did not. It was after I removed tape, etc. & put items back in the fridge that I discovered the gouges in the floor. I called to complain. When the mover came, I provided “cushions” to put under the entertainment center to avoid further damage. Five days later I discovered water coming from under the fridge & pooling in front of the fridge. I called Lowe’s & they sent someone out who showed up at my door with a wrench in hand. He said he didn’t see any damage to the floor. For 7 months I have been doing everything they asked to resolve this issue. After finally reaching the point where I satisfied all their requirements, they decided to switch plans & turn it over to their adjusters. Just as an aside, I was about a week out from having a total knee replacement. In my experience, they don’t use moral or ethical business practices. BUYER BEWARE IN DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.

For two months they kept me hanging with promises of new countertops. But as Lowe's works with Inland Countertops and Cosentino, Anaheim, they can hardly keep tabs of their own staff let alone of others. They simply dropped me, waiting for Inland Countertops to deign contact me and start the project. I have never encountered such a situation when a business completely ignores your requests and does not even inform you to go contact someone else for your needs. I simply have no words for such flakiness.

I made a $4000 appliance purchase in 2022. The system on my account shows no record of the purchase even though I have the receipt showing the complete transaction. Fortunately, the protection plan was able to bring up my purchase (go figure) so I could file a claim on a broken ice maker. When I tried to add the transaction to the "system" with the help of an associate, I was unable to do so, since it only allowed transactions that occurred 3 months earlier. Buyer beware!

DONT ECER WASTE YOUR TIME WITH LOWES THEY ARE A JOKE.

Late Delivery, twice, after damaged fridge first time that no one ever checked. It was clear from the beginning that my expensive food would go bad, after a promise of 1 day delivery, and other subsequent problems. The never-ending nightmare lasted for 4 days. Way too little too late. Much damage was already done.

Beware: Horrible, Horrible, place to shop. I brought a gas stove from the Williamsburg Va store at Lowes, and asked the representative that sold it to, how much is it going to cost for installation, and she specifically said THE installation price IS INCLUDED WITH THE PRICE and all you have to pay for is the price for them to take your old stove away. Well, for one, the stove was a week late. Then when the stove got delivered the delivery person said they Do Not do the installation and it will be a separate price. He also told me that Lowes do this to customers all the time and he have to deal with angry customers because of it. So, I call the store and talked to the assistant manager (Michelle) and she told me that the installation price of the stove will be over $500 dollars. I asked her can they help cover the cost because they should honor what the representative told me which was the price of the installation would be included in the price. So, the assistant manager told me that they could not help me. So, I told them to please come to pick the stove up. So, beware because the delivery person did tell me that this happens all the time....it may be a way to get customers to buy their stove, What a waste of time. I could have just gone to Home Depot. I will be telling everyone I know to Beware of Lowes doing this to people.

Never buy anything from Lowe's. They are SCAMMERS disguised as a reputable company. I received a Primo water cooler advertised as “new”. The box was torn apart, the the top and bottom gone and only styrofoam to support. I had no option but to dispose of the remnants. It's very possible that we received a REFURBISHED item. The previous PRIMO we owned lasted us almost 10 years with the pump sort of failing at the end. Instead of trying to figure out to fix it, we ordered from Lowe's thinking their price was decent for the item because Sam's Club and Costco were out of Primo's under $200. A little over 2 months, it's defective (does no cool water and everything comes out warm). We contacted Lowe's who, gave them the whole spill about the “no box” and the circumstances. They assured us that this was not a problem, and that Fedex will take care of boxing it at their expense. So we scheduled for a pickup with Fedex noting that there is “no box” and faced no objection. A Fedex rep showed up today and said he won't take it without a box. This resulted in additional hours spent over the phone and they prompted me to re-scheduled another pickup with them, saying “this time we should have no issues”, adding an apology that “it wasn't noted correctly”. I thought that was that. Then some Fedex supervisor called me changing his tune and saying they WON'T take it as it and that even if it was dropped off at a location, it won't get accepted. I do not have a vehicle that fits the cooler and I shouldn't be liable for driving 12 miles to drop it off at a location, but I wanted to find out if there is a distinction between a pickup and a dropoff. I have now started a credit card dispute and I'm in the process of submitting a complaint with BBB. Do yourselves a favor and spend the extra money, if you have to, to buy your appliances from a trustworthy source to get a “brand new” item with a reliable return policy. I purchased another unit through Costco knowing their guarantee is trustworthy. They have their own staff to pick up large appliances if a customer is not satisfied. Lowe's simply scammed us, exploiting our limitations.

Dirty laundry in Taunton- Sometimes we have to put our dirty laundry out there to get help! We bought a brand new washer on 2/14 and no information given of a 48 hour policy for return. There is a 30 day return if you use a Lowes credit card. This was defective and it would turn on and off by itself without a delayed start feature. 1)Discrimination of other cardholders who buy their appliances. 2) Deceitful as they do not tell you this when selling or say did you see our return policy. 3) Decide to tell you to call Manufacturer ( multiple calls). I had water coming out like Niagara Falls on to my laundry room, Mudroom, and hall. This is a brand new house and a brand new washer. They said that they had filed a property claim and they will call me. No call and it had been a week. Lowes said it was the timer when they came out. Whirlpool states it is the Inlet water valve.

03/05/2024 On 08/26/2021 Medford Bragg Bought 21 Pella windows from Lowes in Port Orange, Florida from Lowes Sales specialist by name of Mitch. Store # 741. I paid Lowes the Total amount for the 21 windows with a check . People came out and measured all the windows. Later an installer came to install the windows. Some of the windows did not fit. Re-orded some of the windows again. The bathroom window was to be frosted glass and bedroom window was to be clear glass. The windows came and the bathroom window was clear and the bedroom window was frosted. After installing 14 of the windows, Lowes say they cannot install the other 7 windows. They say they cannot stand behind the windows. I have tried to find someone to install the Lowes Windows. It has now been 2 Years 6 months and 10 days since I paid Lowes for the window and to install the windows. I have spoken to the Manger of the store at Lowe’s and they do nothing. One Manager said he would get back to me in 5 days and I have not heard a word from him. A lady called and said Lowes was not going to install the windows. So how does Medford Bragg get the windows he bought From Lowes 2 years 6 Months ago installed?? I paid Lowes in Full for the windows and the installation. Lowes have not installed the windows? A big company like Lowes should be able to install 7 Windows, you would think? The People from Lowes port orange store understand. The Management from Lowes want Medford Bragg to just go away after Lowes has his money. The cost from other window company is very expensive do to cost increases after 2 years and 6 months. This has been a very sad experience with Lowes for 2 years 6 Months. Medford Bragg

called today about price match, as I was talking to the young lady your ad was on TV about meeting any price, she talked to manager, it was the exact same product and #s, the manager said they could not as it was not a direct competitor? I was looking at DeWalt table saw, they sell the exact same thing, but not a direct competitor, I was really taken back about that, so I went ahead and bought the saw from out of state, I will never use Lowes again, have bought a lot of material from Lowes over the years in my remodel business,

We are in the middle of getting our floors replaced, carpet, tile & LVP. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with their contractor (Legacy Flooring) who then sub work out to other contractors. So far we have dealt with six different contractors & one doesn't know about the other. They are still trying to complete our job after almost two months. There is zero co-ordination between Legacy, their contractors & Lowes. Currently they are tearing out the tile to redo it because of an extremely poor install, Oh, & then when they deliver the wrong items, YOU have to take them back to exchange & get the correct items!! Why is that our job?? Then the final insult was from the mess that the tilers left who told me what to use to clear up all their wet tile dust! Then there is yet another contractor that does the deliveries who promptly put a gouge in our finished driveway by dragging a pallet of tile across it. My advice is, if it involves Legacy Flooring RUN! I will never ever use Lowes again for anything that involves their installers.

Lowe’s A week ago, Saturday, February 16th, my husband & I went to Lowe’s to buy a washer. As 2 senior’s in our 70’s and living solely on social security, we asked for the cheapest washer they had. The washer that we needed to replace was 10 years old and had broke over 6 months ago. We run a 501c3 nonprofit Dog Hospice for abused, handicapped & senior dogs, Petite Trésors Rescue & Sanctuary. We have a washer & dryer for us and another set for the dogs. We have these washer’s & dryer’s in our laundry room in a row. They are all front loading & there is a counter going across the top of them. The washer that was broken was the one we used for the dogs. We have a home warranty and have been having them serviced for 10 years. Last year the washer we use for us broke and since it was not repairable home warranty gave us credit toward a new one which we went to Lowe’s to purchase and it was replaced without any issues other than the extra money we had to pay because the money from home warranty wasn’t enough. When the washer we use for the dogs broke, it took 3 to 4 months for our home warranty to tell us they had to give us credit for a new one and another month for us to get the gift card to Lowe’s. Since again, it was not enough money to purchase a washer, we needed to save for the purchase and thought President Day weekend would be a good time to make the purchase. The washer was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, February 18, between 3:00 & 7:00pm. After months of going to the laundromat we were looking forward to having the dog washer again. We have 20 dogs in our Sanctuary and take them for life. We go through a lot of laundry just for the dogs. The delivery people showed up between 2:00 & 2:30. It is a lot of work for us to gather up 20 dogs and put them in the bedroom where they wouldn’t be underfoot of the workers. However, the 2 men sent informed my husband that they were too fat to install the washer. They then told us to contact the delivery department to reschedule and gave us a phone number to call. Then they left with the washer on the truck. When I called the number and explained the situation that had occurred in detail, the woman took all the information and rescheduled our delivery for Wednesday, February 20. Again, we needed to clear a wide range of time, canceling my physical therapy, and gather the dogs again. When the 2 men arrived, they told my husband that it was too small a space for them and were going to take the washer away again. My husband told them that that was unacceptable and they pulled out the old washer. However, it was my 71 year old 6 ft husband that had to crawl behind, disconnect and reconnect and install the new washer. Then the delivery people pushed the washer back into place and apparently took a picture to show their work was done. We were also asked when we purchased the washer to purchase a hose which wasn’t needed. We went back to the Lowe’s store on Thursday, February 21st to return the hose and told customer service in detail more than once what had occurred. We additionally requested that the installation & delivery fee be refunded for our total inconvenience in addition to my husband doing almost all the work which we had paid Lowe’s to do. We were told someone would be in touch within 24 hours. It is now way past the 24 hours and no one has contacted us.

I purchased a dishwasher online in later part of November for a Christmas present we went to install and realized we needed a built in model not portable. We never removed it from its box and straps are still on it but since it was past 30 days they would not switch them out for return. So I have a dishwasher we can't use and I would have to buy another one. While ordering online there was never anything said about the 30 day return policy and I called customer service and the store for help but they wouldn't help me at all. Thanks Lowe's you really go above and beyond for your customers especially loyal ones.
