It looks like I am not the only one with a terrible experience with Lowe’s. Long story short we ordered a patio door in July. After several delays got a door delivered in November. Wrong size. Reordered. Several delays again. January rolls around still no door. We canceled the order because if I hand a business $5000+ I expect quality and timeliness. When we went to cancel, we were given the round around. The manager Kat lied to me about getting a refund. We had to call the credit card company directly to get our money back. Absolutely unacceptable. It is now the end of February and we are just now receiving a check to refund the cost from Lowe’s (which Kat told me they could not do). We will never use Lowe’s contractor services ever again for anything and will make sure to pass on the information wherever I can. Worst experience ever!

The person answering the phone for a construction order, knew nothing about construction. The order was wrong. I spent 3 hours at the store helping to fix my order. They were out of some products that earlier (3 hours)on the phone they supposedly had in stock.

very bad service upon return, employee Alisha, lacks education, does not speak Spanish and does not want to understand, I really like the store, this employee ruins the store's profile, if I find her I will buy at Home Depot, thank you

Never again with Lowes Horrible "corporate customer service". I placed an online order for vertical blinds. I requested length of 96 1/2. They came in at 95. The "customer service" told me they couldn't do anything and I could return them to the store. Like i have a vehicle to accommodate the size of the boxes. When I asked the representative for a solution she said I could call the manufacturer. I asked her to call with me and she said that would take too much of her time!!!! I asked for a manager and after holding for a long time got one who told me the same thing but did offer to schedule a pick up for the product return. I asked for her boss and she said there wasn't one. asked for the corporate escalations and guess what? isn't one. Tried locating a way to get to corporate escalations or even email, can't find it. Called manufacturer Levolor, they were awesome! within 8 minutes they apologized and are sending me the corrected product and don't want the incorrect product back as they don't want to inconvenience me further. Perhaps Lowes can get some customer service training from Levolor.

BUYER BEWARE!!! ARS came to my house. I showed their rep the water heater I wanted from Lowes on their website. Based on this information their rep priced a water heater and tank booster that I approved. I was not home during the installation. When I got home I saw that they had installed an inferior hot water heater and a mixing valve instead of a tank booster - not what I ordered. This was also confirmed by the AA Co. agent who inspected the installation. The cost difference between what I ordered and what was provided is almost $700! I contacted both ARS and Lowes and submitted a Customer Service Complaint. It has been over one month since the HWH was installed. I have called both ARS and Lowes 4 times to get information. I have been told each time that ARS will have their manager contact me for a resolution and no one has called yet. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ARS BASED ON THE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

If you wanna work at Lowe’s, you’ll get plenty of that but you won’t get paid not that well. Their pay structure sucks. It’s all driven towards manager bonuses.

Bought around 1500 sq ft of Style Selections hardwood laminate. It's gapping all throughout the house...they are blaming slab...installer...anyone they can to avoid making it right. Very disappointed. I spend A LOT of money with them...very frustrating.

Went to Lowe's the other day and got bombarded with employees asking if we needed help, do you have a Lowe's card, etc numerous times. Probably more 15 times during our visit, several stopped more than once. One employee tried to convince us to schedule an estimate for a home project that we aren't even doing and we didn't ask. and he also stopped us a second time saying "are you still here? It's been over an hour,". It seemed like we were being hounded around every corner. If I need help I will ask. It makes you feel like not going back. VERY INTIMIDATING

Will never shop at Lowe's again. App won't show my order. Plus , they charged me a delivery fee when it said it was free. Customer service said I clicked on Lowe's delivery.I went out of my way to get the free delivery. Different delivery dates , different in the final price. Had to call customer service, automated voice says delivery on the 5th they said the 11th . I wonder what they'll send. Probably not what I ordered.

I ordered gazebo, but the wrong one. I started trying to cancel my order immediately, but could not cancel it. Called store they could not cancel it. Called headquarters, they say the order could not be cancelled. It is not shipped. They have to deliver it and I have to return or refuse it. Totally ridiculous. They lost a customer.

Our small business has a commercial account with Lowe's. We have had it for a long time and use a Lowe's business credit card. As the bookkeeper at my company, I am in charge of sending the statements to my accountant. Sometimes the statement is misplaced by another person who is checking over the spending each month. It is not possible to just log into the account and download the missing statements. Unlike the other credit cards, Lowe's does not have this option. Instead, I have to call them, wait for a long time, until I can finally request the missing statements, which are then mailed out. The last time, it took me 2 weeks to receive the missing statements. And what is with the long, legal paper sized statements? Scanning them takes forever. Other credit card statements do not come on legal size papers. Any chance of Lowe's perhaps joining the modern age of billing?

The return policy at Lowe’s is terrible. If you lost your receipt, they will no longer give store credit. I will only shop at Home Depot from now on.

They sold us a Whirlpool washer, the finish on the machine by the bleach receptacle is failing. The lid on the machine is doing the same. This Whirlpool machine is 10 months old.

I had a whole house window project done in my house. I was told that Lowes check to make sure their installers are vetted. During the project one of the installers had to leave for criminal court. The installer that came to our house scope out the project measured a large bay window wrong. He told us after tearing out the existing that it was 5" short on height. He wanted me to go to Lowes to find a molding to cover the gap. The window has been a constant problem with a draft and the window isn't set correctly. On another window he used a sledgehammer because the new didn't fit. The wall has a large crack now. Another window when he completed you could see light outside. The side of our house has caulking all over the siding and all over the roof on the upstairs windows. The installers used very large finish nails; the size you would use to frame a house on moldings. I had the store manager from the Rome store come to look at the work being done. The installer was excused from the job, paid in full and never returned. The manager sent another installer to correct the problems, but he refused to work on anything because the installation was so bad. The manager didn't want Lowes Corporate involved and I ended up finishing the work the best I could. I've played phone tag for a week with customer care and they won't do anything. The only thing I am after is getting a competent installer to fix the problems with the large bay window in my living room that was the center piece of the whole job to begin with. I would be paying for it. No help at all was offered.

If you have nothing better to do than spend a few hours trying to get assistance with a major appliance purchase that within 90 days of purchase will need - repair - then 100% spend thousands of dollars with Lowes. Purchase of washer & dryer #1 - dryer immediately had mechanical issues and was scheduled for return. Purchase of washer & dryer #2 (to replace #1) - worked great for almost 90 days before washer had error codes during cycle. Whirlpool? Good luck trying to speak with a human - over an hour on hold with no assistance. Live chat - lol.... I guess they consider bot's to be "live" chat. Over two hours wasted on phone calls and chats with no (zero) assistance from Lowes or Whirlpool. Spent over $1800 on major appliance set and now will pay out of pocket for repairs while still making payments on Lowes credit card. Epic low standards in customer support. Everyone (including Phil) was so very sorry that there was nothing they could do to help. Yes, sorry is probably the best description of the service and support.

We ordered a new refrigerator but on the day of delivery, the drivers refused to deliver it. Their reason was because there was snow and it was on a lawn which leads to the path to our door. They said they refuse to carry the refrigerator across the snow and even if there was no snow, they would not cross the lawn to get to the path to our house. They wouldn’t back their truck up to the path. They just didn’t want to deliver the refrigerator. Their suggestion was buy planking and lay it down for them to carry it. Why don’t THEY bring the planking? Or wait until there is no snow. We live in the Upper Hudson Valley. We aren’t the only house with snow on the ground in Winter and a grassy pathway. We live in the country. And, either way, they WON’T walk across grass. We are NOT going to pave a path in stone or concrete just for these delivery people. Customer Service was of no use to us (suggesting we wait until Spring). We moved into this house in Winter. The movers delivered BIG wooden pieces of furniture (heavier than a refrigerator) across that grassy snow covered pathway and never complained!

Worst possible customer server ever in my 64yrs of living at Lowes!! I purchased a LG washer and dryer at the Lowe's store in Tuscaloosa Al on a Sunday. Trey was the salesman and assured me that a stackable kit would be delivered with my items the next day! I asked for the washer and dryer be delivered after 5pm. I got a message that it was being delivered in the morning, so I took off from work. On Monday the delivery guys show up with the items and no stackable kit. I had to go back to the store to purchase the kit (2nd trip). This was Tuesday and another day off from work and the 2nd set of delivery men show up and open the kit and there's no screws with the kit. So, then I'm told there will be 3rd set of drivers coming out Wednesday with the correct kit. We'll, they called and said there was one stop ahead of me and they'll be at my home. They never showed and just decided to drop my service call and went back to the warehouse and then home. This brings me to the 4th set of drivers on Saturday morning. I get a call from one of the managers Derrick and again I'm told that he was going to personally witness the loading of the stackable kit tonight. Then I get a call from the drivers that their outside my home, but don't have the kit. NEXT on this same day, I get a call from another manager Robert and he tells me I have to make (3rd trip myself) to Lowe's to buy another kit. After calming myself, I exchange the kit for another one and this time it had been already opened, not happening, so she brings another one out, which I have her open and hopefully it's the right kit. Because she tried to sell me a GE kit, not a LG kit. So, I just got a message that the 5th set of delivery service drivers will be out tomorrow between 3:30pm and 7:30pm. I would have had Lowe's give my money back, but I just don't want to go through the hassle of going elsewhere and waiting on someone else!! Keep in mind that I have both hips replaced and I have to make all these trips to a store that has no concept of what customer service means, the worst store ever!!

I’m sorry that I’ll be taking my business elsewhere just because they will not replace a broken screwdriver. It’s the principle more than anything. A kobalt tool that is supposed to be guaranteed. Not a big deal , this is what happened to Sears. I do have 3 houses that I have to buy for, it just won’t be at Lowe’s anymore. I actually keep this screwdriver laying on a work bench to remind me not to buy anything at Lowe’s.
