I purchased an approved used 2021 plate GLC 300D from LSH Macclesfield on 24/06/22. Few days later (28/06/22) I start to noticing clicking/rattle noise from the driver's door, it really made every journey very unpleasant to drive, and made the car feel like as it if is made of card board. On Saturday 02/07/22 I took it to LSH Stockport (nearer to my home) tried to get someone to take a look at it but been told an appointment is needed which is understandable. When asked will this be free of charge I been told it should be free as I have only just purchased the vehicle. They took my details and said someone will call me back which they never did. On Monday 04/07/22 I phoned LSH Stockport and an appointment was confirmed for Friday 08/07/22. On Thursday evening a reminder was received via email with link to check in online. When I did tried to check-in, it shows I have to agree to pay £220 for the check up, which I feel strongly unjustified given the noise occurred 4 days after I purchased the car, bear in mind this is still a very new car that I paid £47k for. Let see if someone in person can be reasonable to waive the charge when I bring the car to them tomorrow.
