On the downside: The light I purchased didn't work out of the box. The toggle on the cable is impractical for infection control. The new light is longer than the old one which makes it harder to fit under a faceshield. The battery is only supposed to be charged for 3 hours at most. This time frame makes it difficult to do. I am looking into separate timer options that may allow me to plug the battery in overnight and yet only have it charge for 3 hours. On the upside: The customer service people are very helpful and work to resolve problems. The battery pack has fewer joints and seams which makes it easier to clean and I can operate it with my elbow which means I don't have cross-contamination issues by using my gloves.
