If I could zero stars I would. I ordered a pair of loupes for their black Friday sale. I did not hear about the status of the order till I reached out to the rep a few months later. So after 4 months I finally receive them and they are completely wrong. They don't fit my face at all. After talking an hour with customer service they asked that I send them back. Fast forward 4 weeks I get the updated pair and they also don't fit. Customer service said to send them back again. I have decided to go with another company but Lumadent says I have to pay to have them shipped back and a $150 shelving fee. Awful service and products. Won't recommend this place to anyone and will tell them to stay away.

I had a great experience with Lumadent. My other loupes were from Lumadent and their products are high quality and have made a noticeable difference in my workflow. Everything feels well-designed and reliable, which is so important in a clinical setting. Logan was the Rep I worked with was also excellent—responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Lumadent to anyone looking for dependable dental equipment.

ordered some pair of glasses to europe, the order and buying process was extremely slow , I need to reach out to them several times to get an offer - felt like they dont really care if I buy them and they make money or not. Finally I bought, but the bad customer experience continues and now reaching back out to them to adjust some wrong placed details on my bill is taking months and they dont get back to me - Now reading all the other bad review make sense - cant recommend

My Ergo LumaDent loupes are frequently needing repairs or replacement parts. Even within the first year and the next 3 years I've had to send in at least 5 tickets to fix something. PS. I owned my Orascoptic loupes 10 years prior and only had minor up keep/ maintenance costs. I keep my loupes in my case when not in use, and care for them regularly.

Everything is wrong with this company from the customer service to the QUALITY, if you want low quality loupes and reps that don't respond and don't come out to you, then choose this pace.

Quality is almost zero! My loops frame was broken, just after a few months, and I contacted them, they refuse to fix it. Go with any other loop but Lumadent, as quality and customer service is terrible.

I gave Lumadent a second chance after a bad first experience—big mistake. Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, sending me the wrong loupes twice and refusing a refund without forcing unnecessary video calls, even after I showed clear photos of the defect. Unprofessional from start to finish. Never again.

The worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with! Purchased them in june and still havent gotten adjusted right! I did miss my call today I called in 10 minutes late and I was sent another email to set up another appointment next week!

As a dental hygiene student, I was really hoping Lumadent would be a reliable investment — unfortunately, it’s been nothing but stress and disappointment. I understand adjustments can be necessary, but they didn’t make the process easy. I wasn’t told I would need to make my own adjustments until after I purchased the loupes. If I would have known this prior to purchase, it would have swayed my decision to order from them. After receiving my loupes in the mail, I spent hours adjusting them in order to see clearly. The initial measurements taken by the rep were incorrect by 7 inches which compromised my ergonomics. I spent over an hour troubleshooting over video chat, even though this was something I was unable to fix myself. They told me I would receive a shipping label via email and I never did. I had to reach out to initiate the process and follow up multiple times to receive updates. I ended up sending them in for a month-long repair — just to get them functional. Even then, they came back damaged and they had completely ignored some of my other my requests via email. Now, just a few months later, both oculars are loose in the lenses — one is nearly falling out — and I’m completely unable to use my loupes because all I see is double vision. I’ve had them for less than a year, I use them twice a week at most, and I’ve taken great care of them. They should not be falling apart already. Throughout this whole process, customer service was not helpful at all and only focused on repair, but I made it clear (more than once) that I would feel more comfortable returning them for a refund in which they refuse. I appreciate their efforts to repair the loupes, but this is a crucial tool I rely on for school and my future career. The quality has been extremely disappointing, and if I’m already experiencing issues now, I can’t trust they’ll hold up with the increased, regular use ahead. I’ve been unhappy with both the product and the support I received, and as a student, I can’t afford to keep wasting time and money on equipment I can’t rely on. I understand companies have return policies, but Lumadent has not been willing to work with me at all. I regret choosing them and would not recommend them to anyone. I wish I would have chosen a different company from the beginning, but now - not even a year later - I have to pay an additional $2000 just for a functional pair of loupes.

My sales rep, Amanda Sanders, was awesome in her knowledge of tips to correct my occulars. After having them sent off to be repaired, they came back with me unable to see out the right ocular. Amanda always gives me tips and advice on how to remedy the issues. Very knowledgeable!

All my friends who bought lumadent have problems with light flickering. Avoid. I purchased a light D4 year. Light flickered pretty much from the get-go. Had the LED module and battery repaired after a year. 7 months later, blinking again. Lumadent wants me to buy a new battery now. $400 worth of repairs within 2 years. Horrible.

I bought a loupe light from this company during my D1 year. By early D4 year, the light already starting flickering and stopped changing intensities. The rep assured me that the repair would take a week, but they held onto my batteries for almost two weeks. On top of it all, they shipped it to the wrong address when trying to return the repaired batteries to me. I’m on week 3 of working on patients without a light and it will probably be longer now. Not only is their product poor in quality, the customer service is incompetent. If it weren’t for me still being in dental school, they wouldn’t have repaired the batteries. There are better products/ companies out there

Terrible product. I bought the prolux package and a year and half later the battery started to flicker. Called customer service and they said it only had a year warranty, bought another battery and the same thing happened about a year and half later just after the warranty expired. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you enjoy having issues.

Bad customer service. I had struggle getting used to the loupes and finally I was able to get my frame set, my lights weren’t usable since the sensor was too sensitive. When I reached out they said it was past 45 days. I had raised ticket was before 45 days about the discomfort. Never shopping again. Orascoptic customer service is way better.

Lori Burrow RDH,I was having a problem with my light and Lori was able to get me a new cord at a significant lower cost than replacing a part! I can't say enough great features of the Lumadent loupes and Lori's prompt customer service!

sales rep ghosted me but took all of my money. my loupes never came and i had to wait more than 2 weeks for my bank to fully dispute the charge. terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I'vs been using the Lumadent light system (bought two set of battery pack) for over 2 years on exam vision loupes. The real concern is the battery life isn't great after a year and after 2 years one of the battery pack was overheating during charging and ultimately it died few months after... The light itself and cables are decent. I just wish the battery packs were more reliable and had better quality. The warranty of the battery pack is only 1 year versus my previous brand which had 2 years warranty...

Good products and got excellent service from Lori Burrow. She went out of her way to help me when my old light was having issue, and offered solutions and options with new replacements.
