“I recently purchased the Ergo Loupes. I sent them back because of the left ocular was misaligned. Also changed to a lower magnification thinking maybe that would help broaden the field of vision. I received them back very quickly but it was the same issue with the left eye being misaligned. I tried again adjusting the nose piece etc but to no avail. Also they’re a little heavier than other loupes I have had/used. The plus is that you can adjust your distance depending on how far the pt can or cannot recline. I did not like the fact that a expensive purchase can be delivered at your doorstep without a signature. If I would've known, then I wouldn’t send it to my residence. I would have sent them to my office.”

“I am happy with my battery and my old one lasted for almost 4 years. I am however disappointed with the quality of the cord that attaches to the head lamp. My o ring on my cord broke off into my head lamp causing my head lamp to not be able to turn on. I got the o ring out and put a new cord on my loupes and the o ring on the new cord broke in less than a day.”

“After paying $100 for a replacement LED module, the company could have done the work to switch out old part for new part while in possession of my LED, instead of sending me back my light with new module and instructions on how to DIY.”

“Although the cordless light is convenient, it is heavy and requires a cord to tighten the loupes to stay in place. Also the tapping motion required to turn the light off and on sporadically works properly”

“I place an order for headlights On January 15th from Canada, the item got shipped January 18th. Right now it's February 4th & it doesn't look like that I am going to receive it soon. I am wondering why Lumadent doesn't use better/faster shipping companies? There are so many problems with this shipping company: 1. From the start of the shipping process it has never gave me any delivery estimate date. None! I have no idea when the package is expected to be delivered. 2. The tracking updates are so vague. "Facility in Canada" or "Facility in USA" doesn't tell anyone anything. 3. The shipping process is super slow. So I highly recommend to Lumadent to change their shipping company.”

“I needed protective caps for my loupes and they don't make the minis anymore which is dissapointing b/c I only bought my loupes a year ago. I am waiting for a refund now”

“The service experience was great. Quick easy order and delivery. The product itself I haven’t loved with how the light is turned on/off. The button is easily bumped or rubbed which results in my light being on when not in use which is annoying.”

“Love my Lumadent light! However the accessories when you get a new set of loupes are extremely overpriced! $30 for a tiny attachment when it should be about $10 after you have already purchased the light.”

“My first pair of Lumadent loupes broke shortly after the 2 year warranty period. The actual metal broke at the hinge of the arm and customer service did not have a record of me buying them since they were bought under my previous dentist I worked for (even though my name was engraved on the carrying case). Also the rubber grips on the end of the ear piece would pull off easily with the tightening of the headstrap. I did purchase a second pair with the wireless light this time. Love Love Love the wireless feature. The changing of the wireless battery is awkward meaning it feels like it will easily break the delicate light the way you have to force the battery on and off. I’ve only had the loupes for 3 weeks and so far the battery last an entire work day. The light does start to dim when running out of battery so you know when it’s time to change and you have to have your second batter charged and ready to go. I am giving 3 stars due to the quality of the first pair and customer service. My second pair is a little better so far but it’s only been 3 weeks.”

“Lumadent provides a novel product that has a lot of potential. The loupes take some time to get used to using but I can fewl a difference in my neck and upper back stiffness. These loupes do help. The downfall is in the quality of their product. I have had a couple of breaks and they must be sent in for repair. My previous pair of a different brand functioned for 5 years with no problems at all. These lasted 2 months before the optic dislodged from the lens, and a month later the right hinge fell apart.”

“The quality of Lumadent illumination products is good. However, the reliability of said products, in my experience, is poor. One of the control cables from this purchase does not work and as a result, I will be lodging a warranty claim”
