My first pair of Lumadent loupes broke shortly after the 2 year warranty period. The actual metal broke at the hinge of the arm and customer service did not have a record of me buying them since they were bought under my previous dentist I worked for (even though my name was engraved on the carrying case). Also the rubber grips on the end of the ear piece would pull off easily with the tightening of the headstrap. I did purchase a second pair with the wireless light this time. Love Love Love the wireless feature. The changing of the wireless battery is awkward meaning it feels like it will easily break the delicate light the way you have to force the battery on and off. I’ve only had the loupes for 3 weeks and so far the battery last an entire work day. The light does start to dim when running out of battery so you know when it’s time to change and you have to have your second batter charged and ready to go. I am giving 3 stars due to the quality of the first pair and customer service. My second pair is a little better so far but it’s only been 3 weeks.
