Making the move from corded battery to the AirLux is a game changer! Fantastic not to be tethered to the battery pack. I use Sheer Vision TTL loupes. The conversion kit to adapt LumaDent headlight took no time at all. I am unfairly rating 4/5 stars only because charging the backup battery is proving to be a hassle. I have to remember to unplug when fully charged at 2-3 hours. My old system, i could charge overnight and be ready for the day.

The battery holds a long lasting charge. The light could have a smaller profile, so it doesn’t stick out so much and the light diameter could be wider.

I love the light that I received from lumadent. However, I was disappointed in how expensive the shipping was when buying a $500+ item. $20+ for shipping when it was placed in an "if it fits it ships" USPS mailing package. I would normally expect at least 2 day UPS shipping if paying that amount for shipping for an expensive item. I was also able to order the rose gold on the website and then was told it wasn't available. After I messaged back, they magically found one for my order.

I ordered a new battery, which came with a new cord that attached to my light. I don't love the switch on the cord, it's way too sensitive and the slightest bump turns it off or on. I prefer my old switch on the battery pack.

Service is good. The glasses clip is very pricey, and the design of the clip is very poor, hard to use

I love lumadent! But i recently purchased a wireless light which i do love the concept of. But there are 2 batteries and i have to switch them out daily. Sometimes 2 x a day. And in the end of the cycle the light goes so dim i cannot see anything. Lumadent…. Whats hsppening here?

The dental loupes are very nice. I haven't used them long so will update on that after I've been using them for a while. Just wanted to comment on the experience of purchasing the loupes and contacting and meeting the sales rep. (Location: MN). 1. The sales rep did not seem professional upon our meeting. She would be on her phone sometimes during the meeting. The meeting with her was to measure my working distance as well as just informing me about the loupes I was interested in. 2. She said I would receive a second pair of safety glasses where I can mount my light free of charge with my order but they never came with it when I received my loupes. 3. After I ordered my loupes, I did not get any emails about the order details or a receipt. Thus, I had to contact her again to get a receipt for my records. She kept saying that Lumadent will automatically send me updates on shipping and the receipt but while waiting for the loupes for 4-6 weeks, I never got any order or shipping details. This would have been nice to have for my records and inform me on updates of the package. Overall, didn't really enjoy the experience with ordering the loupes. I wish the experience with the sales rep was better.

So, my oral health therapist had a prolux that went defective after a year when attached directly to that mini battery. It just turned off and on when she turned her head too fast. I haven't had any trouble with my prolux which is attached to a wire. I've had mine for a few years now. I think the battery might put too much stress on the connection. It wasn't bad enough that I didn't just buy her another one. It's also possible that being a new user she just broke it. So some good but some concerns with reliability of the battery attached directly to the light.

Love my lumadent light! But I must say customer service and delivery is quite slow. Took someone 5 days to respond to my email query, and the order for accessories on 26th Nov has yet to arrive till date.

The delivery was very quick and hassle free although it was a long journey from the US to New Zealand. The products were packaged nicely and safely with very clear instructions.

The product is great. But I did not receive a mount at all for my head light to attach to my loupes. In turn I had to pay extra for the mount. I get I may be at fault for not specifically asking for this in advance but since it was a brand new purchase I think it was unnecessary to charge me for the mount I was told would be part of my purchase. I’ll repeat light is great though no complaints in quality!

The light is great, the customer service is superb, but the fact that the O-ring breaks off inside the light is frustrating. This is the second time I've replaced the cable, the first time I wasn't even made aware that I needed to fish the old O-ring out. The cable went in but recently started shorting out, I couldn't get the new cable to plug into the light. Customer service knew right away that it was the O-ring and referred me to directions about how to remove it. It was a frustrating, time consuming process.

GREAT PRODUCTS AT A GREAT PRICE!!! The only reason I am not leaving a 5 star review is the process once you order. From the time of an online order, it took over a week for the product to ship. I am unclear why it takes so long to box the product and place a shipping label on it and toss it in the mail. Everything else is great, great products, great customer service....just not so great shipping.
