I have been a loyal customer and user of Lumadent products since 2017, specifically their headlights that have served me well. In January this year, I placed an order for a new airlux battery to replace my prolux. The batteries had to be shipped for a 50 USD shipping fee, but I accepted that as due cost. one of the batteries fit well, the second one that came did not and was not functional. Upon contacting the Lumadent team, they helpfully agreed to send me a second replacements unit, but I would have to pay shipping again for another 50 USD. I was happy with the level of support, dead on arrivals happen, and it's unfortunate but I was happy to pay a second delivery fee . To my dismay, the replacement battery once more did not fit. At this point, 6 weeks of back and forth, 100 USD in shipping and I only had 1 functional airlux battery. Upon contacting the support team, they requested another 50 USD, and I had had enough. I requested another refund, but they informed me as per policy, they would not be able to refund the 100 USD delivery fee. After some negotiation, I received a text member from a seperate support member assuring me due to my poor experience they would offer me the full 100 USD refund. I found the team to be quite understanding of the situation and helpful to me. What followed next was over 4 months of back and forth with no sight of the promised refund. As shown in the picture attached to the review, I would politely enquire about the refund every 2-4 weeks, different support members would reply back apologizing for the delay and promising the refund would appear soon before radio silence until I enquired again afew weeks later. As of July, it has been 7 months since I initially purchased the batteries, no refund in sight. I have lost hope of ever receiving my refund. As a long time user of Lumadent, I can no longer support this poor business ethic or recommend them to my peers in Australia. I would counsel potential customers to be very wary of purchasing from them, you will not receive good support post purchase if any mistakes or errors in the product occur.

If I can give less than one star I will do that for sure, I made my order in January and waited for almost 3 months to receive my loups... and guess what when I received it, I was very disappointed with them ... there is issues with the working distance, it hurts my eyes and starting have a lot of eye pains because of the eye strain... also the magnification is not real!!! I chose the 3.3 magnification power and in reality it look like there is no magnification at all!!!! So I wasted 4 months till now and my eyes start hurting me and till now I didn't have the chance to start practicing dentistry with my loups because of all of the issues..

This is definitely not the kind of experience we are looking to provide. I've forwarded this over to our Solution Team - expect someone to reach out to you soon. It's worth noting that the 3.3x magnification is absolutely accurate but using ErgoPrism Loupes, you're typically a few inches farther away from your working area than you are with traditional loupes so it can APPEAR to be less. On our website, we have a magnification recommendation chart for transitioning from traditional loupes to ErgoPrisms.

After 18 months, the battery pack becomes extremely hot and no longer receives a charge. Not a very good product considering the cost and length of time before failing.

I was originally not pleased with the customer service regarding one of my products, but I think it's because my messages were getting mixed up between different individuals in the customer service side of the company. However, after escalating my complaints, someone named Josie ended up taking over and providing me with amazing customer service and ensuring personally that I was satisfied. She was on top of all of our emails, and did not rest until things were fixed. I have been using Lumadent since 2012 when I was a dental school student, and it's nice to know that the company is still reliable. I will never recommend or use any other company for my office headlight products.

The loupes were just ok, have used for over 8 years. I have had multiple problems with batteries, lens falling out wires shorting, nosepieces failing, the frame hinge was the last straw, unable to get technical help via CS, had to pay for parts that did not work. I’m just retiring them and using my other set from another manufacturer that has never once failed.

Horrible customer service. I have tried calling multiple times over a few days span and no one has gotten back to me. When I use the chat option available, they also were not helpful and told me that someone will be in touch with me via email in the next day, and I still have not heard anything back 4 days later.

I purchased my ergoprism loupes Jan 2022. It is almost Sept 2022. I have gotten to wear them 30 days until the lense fell out on its own. They glued the lense back in and then they needed to be sent back in for adjustment. I have lost count of how many times I've had to send them in for adjustments. It takes them days to email you back then it's email tag for a couple days then they finally send you a shipping label. Takes about 3 weeks to get back if your lucky. Then chances are they won't be right and you have to send them back multiple times. I loved the loupes for the 30 days I got to wear them but the company needs to work on getting them right BEFORE sending them back. Do not buy them unless you have a back up pair and are willing to wait almost a year to get them right. I am currently waiting on a shipping label.

I sent the photo of my loupes so you guys can send me appropriate attachment for my loupes ! I was sent the wrong one ;( I purchased additional ones and the universal stand for the light is not universal ;( I am happy with the light but finding the right attachments proved to be very difficult ! I spent over 80 dollars and I still can’t use my loupes / with your light

I am happy with my battery and my old one lasted for almost 4 years. I am however disappointed with the quality of the cord that attaches to the head lamp. My o ring on my cord broke off into my head lamp causing my head lamp to not be able to turn on. I got the o ring out and put a new cord on my loupes and the o ring on the new cord broke in less than a day.

Love my new loupes and light. They sent them all the way to New Zealand in less than 10 working days. it was such a cost- saving buying them directly from Lumadent.

I have never waited so long for a package, especially considering the estimated delivery time posted on your site. I feel like its been shipped from Jupiter, with a stop on Mars just to make sure i cant use my light for another week…

After paying $100 for a replacement LED module, the company could have done the work to switch out old part for new part while in possession of my LED, instead of sending me back my light with new module and instructions on how to DIY.

Customer service is horrible. O ring from prior cable is stuck in my light and they do nothing to help with a simple solution, instead want more more money to “fix” all I need is a cable with no O ring. Ridiculous I can’t use my light with the new cable as is. Horrible help

If there is less than 1 star I would choose it, worst experience ever, I placed my order in January got my loupes in April, after three months of waiting I got something full of mistakes, the frame doesn't fit, wrong working distance, double vision, and limited dark field. 5 of my friends have the same issues all the measurements are wrong. I opened a ticket one week ago and no one contacted me! Unresponsible unreliable company.
