Actual rating: 4.5/5 stars. I love this vacuum. It is superior to my previous Dyson, and the fact it is cordless is fantastic. The suction is great and over time I've pulled up lots of pet hair and dust from my carpet that otherwise likely would have just stayed. I don't really have complaints, but I will say the battery life isn't fantastic. I have an 800 sq ft house and I can do the entire house on the normal mode, but on high suction mode it only lasts a few minutes. Hopefully over time battery life can improve. The one thing I cannot evaluate, but is important to me, is the ability to service the vacuum if/when things break. This was a selling point to me originally, that parts would be available to fix it.
