We only just received the vacuum, so we can't speak to its longevity, but its an impressive instrument nonetheless. The packaging and overall design is simple and gorgeous, it was simple to put together, and we cleaned our entire 1000 sqft home on a single charge. Some other unexpected things: its nice that it is cordless and can stand upright with no assistance and not fall over, its an entirely different sound compared to most vacuums (not nearly as loud), and the suction power is top of the line, we could see a path where we vacuumed on our hardwood floors. Provided that it lasts for years, I can say that I'm very pleased with the purchase. As a mechanical engineer, I'm incredibly annoying when it comes to design and utility, but I'm very impressed with this vacuum!
