We fly in and out of Luton 5 or 6 times a year and absolutely hate going through security via the fast track service as it is far from fast at all!!
Yes, you cut down the initial queue time then you have to join the queue to get through security, very poor indeed! I would expect to have a dedicated security check area to speed up the necessary and important security checks that have been additionally paid for!!!!!
