I only use the short stay carpark and am always able to find a space relatively close to the terminal. I regularly book the day before the parking is required and on a significant number of occasions by registration hasn't been recognised when entering and thus requiring a conversation on exit when the system believes payment is required. This delays my onward journey. Suspect either the ANPR doesn't work correctly or system is not updated with last minute advance purchases.
