Landing at Luton airport is like visiting a third world airport. On Saturday 9th. 2015 we arrived on a Thomson flight from Menorca. We were kept waiting for 15 minutes on the plane as a) the steps weren't ready for disembarkation and b) I was told that there was no reception personnel available to lead us from the plane to the terminal. On going to the baggage reclamation there was a delay of about 20 minutes, not just at our reclaim point but also at others. I rarely fly from Luton through choice, there is always some problem that spoils the holiday. The whole place looks and feels tatty, a definite lack of investment in the environment surrounding your customers. I don't suppose for a minute that there will be any response to these words, but feel free to reply. When asked by friends if they should use Luton, it's a definite no.
