This was given as a gift, so I do not have direct experience with the robe. As tempted as I was to unfold it and put it on; I didn't. As tempted as I was to keep it for myself; I didn't. I can tell you the weight of it feels perfect and the material felt great from the small touch I had. We've vacationed with a dear friend who can be known as Mr. Robe guy. At a nice hotel he jumps into the robe and enjoys it during the trip, so we thought giving him is own piece of paradise at home would be fun and thouroughly enjoyed! We ordered a Large for him, he's 6 ft 180-200 lbs.
