Thailand treat The Great Northern Thailand tour by Luxury Escapes exceeded all of our expectations. We were fortunate to enjoy the wisdom of two knowledgeable tour guides and drivers who were considerate, polite and professional. Jah led us for the first three days. She was extremely efficient and helpful and ensured her sector of the trip ran smoothly and was enjoyable.  Our tour guide for the next eight days Tippy and the driver Aiu were nothing short of spectacular. Their organisation of our day was personalised and they were very willing to accommodate our requests. Tippy went well beyond our expectations of a tour guide. The accommodation was excellent as were the tour activities. We are really glad we participated in every offering from a cooking school, canoe trips, elephant feeding and a train ride. The scenery was stunning as were the temples we visited. Hotels were varied in style but all were at least 4 star…a couple of them even 5 star….the floating hotel is one of the most unusual we have ever visited. There was a nice balance of food options of included meals and the opportunity to explore local restaurants. We highly recommend this tour as a comprehensive experience of Northern Thailand.
