i have been a customer for years, i took out a subscription that was auto renew and i phoned Magazines Direct to ask them to cancel it before the renewal period as i had taken out a new subscription at a better rate with them for the same person and same magazine. However , they failed to cancel it as i had requested so sent 2 x copies to the same person for the next 3 months and charged me twice, when i realised this and contacted them to check that they had definitely cancelled the first subscription they claimed that they had no record of my call and refused to refund this. So poor processes, zero customer focus, and they have lost my custom, i subscribe to a lot of magazines and have never had such a bad service experience as with this company, i will never ever use them again , i hope it was worth the cost of 3 magazines at manufacturing cost to them to lose a long term customer and receive a negative review, great business model !
