I've received consistently poor support from Magazines Direct since Future Publishing absorbed Imagine publishing. They lost my purchase history and took eight months over two different tickets to tell me this. Support raised my subscription rates when I replaced an expired credit card. Magazines direct has twice taken my payment and then claimed they never received it. Twice! I had to dispute the transactions with my bank! I'd report them to the Better Business Bureau if they had jurisdiction in the UK.
I'm convinced that there are language barriers with the India-based support and that they consistently use scripted language to simulate support like a placebo.
