I wanted to do something special for my Dad. A year ago he passed away. I loved the idea of painting him. It took a photo that already meant a lot to me and gave it much more meaning. I was giddy and in awe as I painted it. It was so cool. I hadn't painted anything since I was in middle school. I quickly got the hang of it. The quality was amazing. Looking at it from a distance looks almost exactly like the picture. A quick tip...selecting a closer pic of maybe 1-3, maybe 4 people would be best. It maintains the amazing shading detail in the colors they select for the picture.
