The overall process was smooth, and online booking was very easy, but there could have been improvements along the way. Our goal was to have a mattress removed, and that was ultimately completed, but it was performed by a third party. My understanding was that a Mattress Disposal+ team would perform the removal. The removal was supposed to happen between 8 AM and 12 PM. At 11 AM I called the service center to inquire about the location of our removal team. I had a good experience working with the customer service representative. What I did not expect was that I would then receive a call from a driver telling me he was from Ikea Home Delivery. I was confused but apparently this was the team who was contracted to remove our mattress. Everything went smoothly but I wished that it had been made clear to me that it would be possible for a third party contractor to actual perform the removal instead of a Mattress Disposal+ team. Please update your process so that this is made clear to future customers.
