I have an Ruger LCP II .22lr I was having trouble with. Failure to fire, failure to feed, failure to extract. Sent it back to Ruger and upon return 3-4 springs had been replaced. Worked fine for awhile then started problems all over again. Then Firing pin broke. Ruger sent me a new firing pin. At the same time I ordered an MCARBO recoil spring. Replaced the firing pin and installed the MCARBO spring which is approximately quarter inch longer than original.Took it out to the range and fired 280 rds. 80 rds. 36 gr. CCI MiniMag, 100 rds. 40 gr. Mini &
Mag., & 100 rds. 36 gr. Remington Vipers truncated cone. Zero malfunctions for 280 rds. Yes the new firing pin helped. However I attribute the zero malfunctions to the MCARBO recoil spring.
