AVOID MERCHBAR LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! After reading up on others’ experiences, I’m convinced they are con artists. My experience: At checkout, my $250 order of a dozen LPs was placed TWICE!! — 2 duplicate orders created with the same time stamp. Contacted them right away after receiving two separate confirmation emails and confirming duplicate charges. 3 days later I FINALLY get a response from them telling me “unfortunately, its too late to cancel them because they’ve already been shipped.” I’m angry, but I figure i will just send the duplicate packages back. So they finally arrive in my building package room (building staff accepts all packages for tenants) and I email Merchbar again, to inquire about how they’d like me to go about getting the duplicate records back to them and THIS is the response I get: “We're sorry that you weren't able to refuse the delivery for the duplicate records. We understand that you would like to return them free of charge. Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to accomodate your return request, I am sorry that we're unable to. Please note that vinyl records can only be returned if defective or damaged. You may check our Returns Policy here for your reference. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
