“I'm writtinhg this review by December 12th 2024, I placed an order in September 1st 2024 and have sent 3 help requests asking for my order their only reply is if I want to cancell and get refunded, to be honest I'm afraid to cancel, as I may forever loose my money. I highly recomend stay away from this site”

“Won’t refund my money only offering in store credit,, told them no I want a refund after a month of waiting for my order to process, totally missed it for the birthday gift it was ment for, they replay they will not refund my money and have also taken the in store credit back advising me to take it up with PayPal. I’ll be going to the attorney general and Better Business Bureau. Literally stole my money”

“I ordered once 2 years ago with only a slow shipping issue. This year I ordered an album and was told there was a supplier delay. I waited 4 months until I canceled the order for a refund. I ordered last month and after 4 weeks the order was still showing processing and I have not received a response back after 2 emails. So I will dispute on my CC and warn anyone interested not to buy from this "company" shop local and get your records the same day.”

“Today is December 9,2024. I ordered four albums on August 3, over four months ago. Despite being told at the time of purchase "Estimated Delivery: 2-8 days," so far, I've received only one of the four albums. In what was a bad decision on my part, I ordered three more albums on September 27 and, over two months later, I haven't received any of them. In response to my request for more information, they cannot give me a new estimated delivery time and have told me: "Unfortunately, due to the temporary slow-down in the dispatching of orders and ongoing challenges with our supply partner, we're unable to provide a specific shipping timeframe at the moment. This situation has impacted several orders, including yours." They offered to cancel my order, but I want the albums they agreed to send me. I certainly thought I'd be safe ordering in September for Christmas presents, but that does not look to be the case.”

“Same story as everyone else here. Wish I would have checked these complaints before ordering from them. Ordered album, never shipped. Contacted customer service and I’m still getting the run around. No clear answers but lots of “we’re really busy right now and will get with you soon” replies. NEVER will order from them again. Just hoping I will eventually get my refund since they have definitely already taken my money. Terrible customer service and company.”

“I’ve ordered several vinyl from them and never actually received an order. They are totally a scam. One vinyl was on “back order” for over a year and then I cancelled. It’s ridiculous”

“Do not ever ever buy from Merchbar AVOID. I ordered a limited Macklemore vinyl for my son from this company in Feb 2024. This item never arrived, it’s now Nov 2024 and despite emails back and forth it clearly does not exist, and in fact never has. After repeated complaint by me a refund was promised, then all the “refund processing errors” lies as highlighted in other reviews have been repeated to me. This is impossible as it was paid via PayPal. PayPal also call complete BS on this Merchbar excuse. I asked for a copy of the supposed error…urh “sorry we can’t provide that”, so I asked for the billing department, who encountered this supposed error phone number, urh “they can’t be contacted”!! They have no intention of refunding, it’s blatant theft, incredibly unethical. After all the promises of a refund they have now recommended I contact PayPal, fully knowing that you can’t lodge a payment dispute with PayPal after 180 days. Lie after lie after lie. Don’t buy from here unless you never want to see your item or refund! Should be shut down.”

“Horrible experience. Took my money and then after months of waiting--and a a follow up email from me--they said that they had problems with their supplier. Then offered me store credit, which, as you can imagine I didn't want (as I don't want to deal with them anymore). As to the problems with their supplier, I can get the vinyl on Amazon and have it in two days! Avoid if possible...”

“I have ordered from merchbar 3 times in the last year and each time I don't get my records. So after 90 days I finally cancelled my order. It's ridiculous that they bill you before they send out the records but then they just leave you hanging without telling you what the hold up is. Even after you ask them what's taking so long all you get is a snarky respond. I'm beginning to think this company isn't legit”

“Same story as everyone else. Ordered $275 worth of vinyl 10/13/24; received no updates nor product. Contacted them 11/22/24 and was told they would start a service "ticket" and have someone get back to me in 24-48 hours. It never happened. 12/03/24, called them again and explained everything. The response I received was an offer to start a new "ticket" and have someone get back to me in 24-48 hours. I let them know that I had no faith in anyone getting back to me and instead requested to cancel my order. They told me that to even do THIS, they still had to process a "ticket" and have someone get back to me in 24-48 hours. Screw it. I contacted my Credit Card Company and began a dispute.”

“I ordered an album for my daughter on Jan 4th 2024 as of today it is still being processed. When I contact support they say it’s on back order but on website it shows in stock. Almost a year and still haven’t received my order. Buyer beware, I unfortunately did not read reviews before I purchased.”

“So DONE with this site. Preordered it was confirmed 3 months ago and the album was to arrive by November 22 nd. It’s the end of November now. Cancelled my order. I’ll stick with Amazon prime at least I get it next day or the date of release.”

“This site is a joke. I ordered 2 months ago and my order is still at the "ordered" status. Every email I send to get support gets the same answer: "We are receiving a high number of emails and requests. We will respond to your concern as soon as possible" Up to this point I will keep my order active just to see how long they will keep this on. But i will NEVER order from those clows again!”

“these people are actual criminals and I am pursuing the ACCC to close down all their Australian websites and their ability to fleece unwitting Australians. They claim items are on backorder when in fact the orders are never made. When you ask for a refund they claim, endlessly, that they are seeking a refund from a supplier I have no business with and can't supply an invoice to. Criminals and people in their direct locality need to picket their offices. Destroying faith in an important industry”
