“A year ago I ordered some records for my granddaughter as I also was giving her a turntable for Christmas. The week before Christmas I received an email that they would not arrive by Christmas. I immediately canceled the order and asked for a refund. I have emailed them monthly since then and still have not received the $102. Their replies are always the same...please be patient, we are working on it, etc. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is non-existent. I'd rather not even give them one star but it doesn't allow zero!”

“They list items that they don't have, giving you the option to cancel the order if they don't comeback in stock. However, they don't let you cancel the order and never give the money back. They ignore contact emails and messages. Worst online experience I have ever had.”

“Three separate orders. Three separate non-deliveries and non-responses. The first two times they offered store credits only and I now have $100+ in store credits from a store that does not deliver anything. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES”

“I ordered a Will Wood CD for my daughter(couldn't find it anywhere else) with an estimated 3 month shipping date. The date came and went, I chased various times. They said I could request a refund so I did. Then they said they couldn't process the refund so would have to give me store credit! Why say I can request a refund if they won't give me one! Had I read the reviews here beforehand I never would have purchased from this site as it seems this is their scam model.”

“Horrendous company. Bought a vinyl nearly a year ago, with an estimated shipping date of December. Still hasn't shipped. Maybe they meant December of the following year.”

“I regret not reading these reviews before purchasing. I ordered a vinyl in December 2023, happy to wait up to 3 months as stated for it to be reprinted and then shipped. After 14 months with no update I contacted Merchbar and they ended up cancelling my order. I was told I would receive confirmation when my refund had been processed... but again heard nothing. After a few unanswered emails they have finally responded after 7 months to say that they couldn't process a refund to my card so have given me store credit. Obviously that is totally useless as I have seen no evidence to suggest they would fulfil any future orders and I will never be buying from them again!”

“AWFUL. They never shipped my $225.62 Christmas order from November 2024. I canceled and requested a refund in March 2025. Emailed them dozens of times and received only canned bot replies. Now they have TAKEN ALL WAYS TO CONTACT THEM OFF THE WEBSITE. Reported them to BBB and the FTC. Absolutely fraudulent company. Horrible experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”

“If I could put zero stars instead of one I would. Do not buy from these idiots. Their prices are amazing, because they never ship the product. Easy to sell stuff at an amazing price when you never ship to the buyer. Avoid at all costs!!”

“Order kept getting delayed. After 8 months, I had had enough and requested a refund. After 3 emails, I finally got a response and they said they could only give me store credit. Tried to use the store credit. Tried twice with 2 different credit cards and kept getting a message that they could not process the charges. Next day tried again and they were only giving me 15% off off my order instead of applying the total credit.-Emailed again x3 with no response. Terrible to deal with!”

“SCAM. After 6 months of waiting for my order to be fulfilled, I filed a complaint with the BBB. I get a response the same day, but instead of a refund, they claimed an "error" with processing my return and issued store credit, so my money is still being held hostage by them.”

“I placed an order with Merchbar for three records in December, and never received them. I contacted customer service multiple times and it took weeks to get a response. When I finally requested a refund, they continued to delay, claiming my payment was “in queue”—yet still, no reimbursement after four months. I had to file a complaint with the BBB just to get a response at all. Even after they said they would refund me, it’s been two more weeks with no payment. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam. Holding money for undelivered products and failing to communicate is not only unethical—it should be illegal. I’ve filed formal complaints and will continue to pursue every option available. Do not trust this company. They are unresponsive, untrustworthy, and should not be in business”
