“No surprises here. Ordered five records during one of their “sales” with the promise of shipping within five days. Lo and behold, a month goes by without a single record moving past processing. Reached out to CS and waited over a week, only receiving automated “we are really busy” emails. Finally had to dispute the purchase with my credit card. STAY AWAY. COMPLETE SCAM”

“Ordered a vinyl on 12/15/2024 the order still only shows order placed. I cancelled the order & I have not recieved an update nor my money back. I was skeptical of this site when I ordered but I did it anyway. Waste of time & not a good experience.”

“I tried ordering a cd from King and Country went through all the step and at the end it said if you dont get a email contact customer service I did and nothing. I cleared my cart I better not see a charge on my card.”

“I would give the zero stars if it were possible. DO NOT ORDER FROM MERCHBAR. They are a total scam. Their customer service is pathetic and I feel bad for the young people they have answering their phones. They are not able to look up orders or help in any way.”

“I placed my order 2 1/2 weeks ago. I still have no word on my order despite my attempts to reach out to customer service. It's showing as order processing on the site...after over 2 weeks. It's 2 days from Christmas, and my daughter really wanted this, and I have hardly anything for her under my tree. I'm disgusted.”

“They advertise products they do not have and have no intention of fulfilling. Customer service is non-existent. Ultimately had to dispute with my credit card company. Stay away.”

“Having not fulfilled the order placed in May (despite one of the records being constantly in stock with the record company), they are now refusing to give a refund to the original source - as per both their t&cs & emails sent to me in September... ...instead insisting on "store credit" - which is totally useless to me as I no longer have someone in the US to receive parcels; so they have effectively stolen my money. I have emailed again & again over the last 4 weeks & just constant BS from them - do not touch with a bargepole as they have zero integrity & are clearly scam merhants.”

“If there was a minus star, I would have cheked it. Please DO NOT order from here. They are scammers and there is not one to talk to except underpaid live box AI people. They keep your money and do not deliver. I disputed it wth my bank and thank goodness, I received my money back. I have written to several BBB and you should do the same. No refund and no merchandise.”

“Orderd 2 vinyl albums from them 3 months ago and I'm still waiting. Don't waste your money here find whatever it is your looking for somewhere else. I haven't received what I ordered or received a refund.”

“Only giving a star to put this here. BEWARE! Ordered 2 things. One never left processing status the other went from processing to back order after a few days. Have reached our multiple times in multiple to get answers. To no avail. Canceled order. No response. Disputing with my bank now.”

“Despite my better judgment and countless reviews saying not to order through MerchBar I decided to place an order. After numerous emails back and forth, the customer support team could not give me a shipping estimate and put the blame on their suppliers and “complex issues”. This appears to be their standard response to all orders based on the reviews I have read and they are aware they are considered a “scam” as the Customer Service rep guaranteed me they were not without me bringing it up. At some point the company needs to reassess their business model and take a long look at how they are viewed in the music industry. Shape up or get out.”

“I'm writtinhg this review by December 12th 2024, I placed an order in September 1st 2024 and have sent 3 help requests asking for my order their only reply is if I want to cancell and get refunded, to be honest I'm afraid to cancel, as I may forever loose my money. I highly recomend stay away from this site”

“Won’t refund my money only offering in store credit,, told them no I want a refund after a month of waiting for my order to process, totally missed it for the birthday gift it was ment for, they replay they will not refund my money and have also taken the in store credit back advising me to take it up with PayPal. I’ll be going to the attorney general and Better Business Bureau. Literally stole my money”

“I ordered once 2 years ago with only a slow shipping issue. This year I ordered an album and was told there was a supplier delay. I waited 4 months until I canceled the order for a refund. I ordered last month and after 4 weeks the order was still showing processing and I have not received a response back after 2 emails. So I will dispute on my CC and warn anyone interested not to buy from this "company" shop local and get your records the same day.”

“Today is December 9,2024. I ordered four albums on August 3, over four months ago. Despite being told at the time of purchase "Estimated Delivery: 2-8 days," so far, I've received only one of the four albums. In what was a bad decision on my part, I ordered three more albums on September 27 and, over two months later, I haven't received any of them. In response to my request for more information, they cannot give me a new estimated delivery time and have told me: "Unfortunately, due to the temporary slow-down in the dispatching of orders and ongoing challenges with our supply partner, we're unable to provide a specific shipping timeframe at the moment. This situation has impacted several orders, including yours." They offered to cancel my order, but I want the albums they agreed to send me. I certainly thought I'd be safe ordering in September for Christmas presents, but that does not look to be the case.”
