Ordered a 3-seater garden sofa via Amazon and 2 armchairs with a side table. These arrived by separate carriers on the same day. The sofa is black and the armchairs and table are dark brown. I contacted them immediately to do a straight return and placed a further order for two black chairs. During the night I received an email from the company (clearly an outsourced customer service) to tell me that I had to pay for the return. I replied asking that they did not send out my 2nd order until we had resolved the problem with the 2 chairs and table. They are insisting that the advert says they are brown. It does not.
I arrived home today to find that the 2nd order is on my drive, nobody at home and not signed for. Had I been at home I would not have accepted this delivery. I am furious that my instructions have not been followed.
This company has offered me £20 to keep the brown chairs but they are of no use to me and I want to return them. All I wanted was a straight exchange of goods without paying for returns.
I have tried phoning...they do not answer.
I wish that I had visited this site first. I am appalled that Amazon is doing business with such a disreputable company
