Bought sensor bin through Wowcher, I live in Birmingham, I paid £6.99 standard delivery but they sent my item to be collected from Derby.
Went to collect, they told me they disposed of my item, refused to give me a refund or replacement, insisted i had requested click and collect. I asked for the original check out page but they keep sending me bits and pieces then they messed up sent me the correct check out page, but still insisted on not giving me a refund or replacement.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! SCAMMERS”

Was gifted a lift and rise chair needed a spare part as I broke it
Told them that the person that had bought me the chair had passed away so I don’t have the order number gave them all the numbers from the chair
They then told me they was out of stock but new stock was coming but couldn’t supply it unit I have the order number
So the chair is now scrap

“I have been in dispute with MH Star for over 2 weeks now. I paid £199.99 for a kitchen cabinet. Initially I only received part of the order without them giving any indication that the item would be delivered separately and without any notice. When the second box did arrive, it turned out that it was the incorrect base and in fact a kitchen island. One of the panels in the other box was also broken. It took several days to get them to take any responsibility and at one point they wanted to give me £15 to build the unit with a broken panel and without a base. Really??? After much ado, they decided to send a completely new order. Low and behold, yesterday I received one pack and this morning I received the second pack. Again, they have managed to send yet another kitchen island!! Now again the onus is on me as the customer to provide them with pictures of an open box with a load of pieces of wood!! Sending them the manual was not enough even though that showed what the item in the box looks like! No! They want a picture on an open box of wood. I am so sick of this company and how I wish that I had read the reviews for them beforehand. Shame on B&Q for promoting such a disgraceful organisation. Now I have a living room full of stuff that is no good to anyone and also a health and safety hazard for my family as my living room has become unusable. I have uploaded photos to show what I am living with, compliments of MH Star's inability to get a simple order right!! Now it's going into yet another weekend and surprise, surprise, they do not work weekends!!”
“The problems with MH Star continue and seem to be worsening. I wrote previously about a delivery issue which was later rectified. Now, I am faced with another set of issues with this company. When I opened the first box of 2 one of the panels for the cabinet was broken, so I wrote to MH Star requesting a replacement panel. When I opened the second box, to my surprise, it was a completely different base! So, I wrote to MH Star again. What was their initial response? They offered me £15 to keep and use the broken panel with no care as to whether it might affect the integrity of the unit. To date they have not acknowledged their error in sending the wrong base and how they intend to rectify this cock-up. I have also requested information on their complaints procedure which they have not provided! This is truly an appalling company and all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!! The fact that B&Q continue to allow this company to trade through them tells you all you need to know about B &Q, and they too have been less than helpful in this matter.”
“The item has not been delivered , the delivery company has had it at their hub for the last 5 days and are now saying delivery sometime early next week. Not even a definite date given What an appalling way to conduct a business which is made worse by the fact that they have 2 contact phone numbers and have used neither and this a birthday present for my granddaughter . I ordered a garden swing (3-seater) that arrived with a small hole in a canopy, some screws were too long and the rails were deformed/ damaged so did not want to join together. Tried to contact them directly via email but no response! Dispute via PayPal ended up with me having had to pay for the return postage ( over £30 !) from my pocket. The quality is very poor and customer service even worse. I would not be buying from the website ever again.”
“Ordered a privacy screen which was far too heavy so had to return it. Turns out the weight and length of the product was incorrect on the amazon website so no wonder it was so heavy. The company refused to have anything to do with the return said it was my responsibility to return it and pay for it.
Couldn’t get a courier company to return it due to weight and measurements that’s when they told me ‘I was entering the wrong details’ told them that was the measurement they had on website. Ended up costing me just over £25 to return it”
“I purchased Christmas garlands supplied by MH Star via The Range Online.
The garland arrived in numerous pieces which all had to be self-assembled. Before buying the garland, I read the product description carefully and at no point did it mention that it had to be self—assembled. Due to time restraints, I needed a garland that was already assembled and thought this would be ideal. Unfortunately not! I contacted The Range and was told that MH Star would only allow my refund if I agreed to pay a £8 charge for collection (the price of the garland itself was just under £13). This was completely disproportionate to the cost of the product. I emphasised that under Consumer Rights law I was entitled to a full refund as the product was NOT AS DESCRIBED online. The product description has now been amended online since my complaint. The company is being dishonest about this. I am being accused by their disputes team of not reading it properly and told that I ‘have to be held accountable for my actions’. My refund is still being refused unless I pay the £8 collection fee. Utterly despicable company. No regard for consumer rights. I have left a similar review for The Range, as both companies’ approach to customer service has been shocking.
During our conversation, the customer service advisor claimed that MH Star advised me by email that all of their products are self-assemble products. Whilst that is true, the email from MH Star was sent on 25 December, which was one week AFTER I had purchased the product. This was absolutely no use to me at that point.”

Ordered my item and tried to return it, however they claimed I couldn't return to them even though they were around the corner from me and insisted it had to go through their courier. They refused to give me my money back and it wouldn't make it back within the 30 days even though my return was within the 30days.”
“Scam ordered a product on pigsback.com paid and then they cancelled the order saying they had none in stock. They are still advertising the product so my advice is shop somewhere else.”
“Mhstar also known as Aosom is not an easy company to deal with. We needed replacement polycarbonate panels for one of their gazebo’s which we purchased through Amazon, eventually after we proved that we had purchased it from them via Amazon and told them the package we required and after many emails they said they could supply them and gave us a price, we paid and had to send a screenshot of the payment details to two different departments and the box of panels arrived in good time so our experience has been a positive one but not at all easy.
I think every time we were contacted it was a different person.”

Battled for a month and a half before giving up and accepting us the £70 partial refund (for a £500 product) they offered us. Totally insulting and they are nothing better than entirely incompetent.”

Wish I’d read all the reviews before wasting £246.59 on such a dreadful quality metal shed. They refuse to refund unless you pay for the shed to be returned yourself, this is not in line with their own returns policy online. This of course costs a huge amount as it’s a large and heavy. You must return it in an unopened as new condition. But we opened it to ascertain it was rubbish quality. They are ignoring all our emails and messages through PayPal. Total waste of money, lots of stress and regret not reading the companies reviews”
