I needed a scope to inspect my record player's cartridge stylus VTA setting. Not knowing much about scopes I spoke to the manger of the store via chat. he was able to quickly asisst me by checking what i had in my shopping cart. he told mde i didn't need an expensive stand, that a lesser one would work for my purposes. he confirmed my choice of scope. this was very helpful to me. more than that, i found that a method had been written up on the site with instructions on how to do what i was interested in (measuring VTA). i had started looking for scopes on ebay etc but it was confusing and frankly i had no confidence i would get something of utility to me. microscopes advice really made a difference here and i have successfully used the equipment already. congratulations on a great store!
