My book arrived damaged, with the corners of the hardback cover smashed beyond any hope of repair. I sent in pics of the damaged areas and got a fast response. I could have a 20% discount on a book that was ruined, or I could get a refund after being issued a return shipping label. I chose the latter option. The sad part of this whole thing is that I know what happens to books when they ship via USPS, and had specifically asked for additional packing material to be used to protect it. When the box arrived, I opened it to find a layer of packing material on top of the book, and a layer below it. Nothing was used to pad the corners in any way, and they had been completely smashed in transit.
