The two-player and solo modes are well-executed, and overall the gameplay is reminiscent of some of GMT's simpler COIN series. There's no dice to roll, and the outcomes of conflict and operations are determined by the Resolution Deck. Historical figures and events are brought to life in the Event Deck, which drives the action forward and provides considerable player agency. Highly recommended for players interested in games focused on the WWII era, or for those with an interest in some COIN-style mechanics.
