Mirus were employed by a prospective buyer for my home on 18th December 2014, the surveyor and his assistant arrived late, so I had to rearrange a GP appointment. Following the report, the buyer withdrew as surveyor apparently said he did not think my loft extension, built in 1986, and cleared by local authority building control officer, was safe to put weight on. Also on emptying my built-in wardrobe, I found small holes in ceiling and a piece had been cut / pulled from beneath the shower switch. It appears as though the surveyor was trying to see behind plasterboard, without my consent / knowledge. I emailed the surveyor who denied this and as the prospective buyer has the report I cannot confirm if he made any comments on insulation etc., I would not allow a surveyor from this company to come to my home ever again and certainly would not recommend them to anyone.
