I shopped carefully before I chose an alert system that would be the best for me in my circumstances. I am 79 years old, I walk with a walker, have very poor balance, and not much strength in my legs. I have used the "button" just three times in the 28 months (or so) that I've had the service. I fell and couldn't get myself up, so I pushed the device and within 30 seconds, an operator was with me.
