I only got my MobileHelp basic system (consisting of 1 mobile unit with charging cradle, 1 wrist band button, and 1 pendant [both waterproof]).late last month, but so far, I'm very pleased with the service. So far, I haven't needed to take advantage of it in earnest, and I hope I NEVER have to, but I'm glad to have it available, just in case I take another tumble, or otherwise have a need to signal for help when no one's around to lend me a hand, such as the day I took that initial tumble.
I especially love the fact that the mobile unit's GPS capability guarantees that EMS will locate me, even if I can't tell MobileHelp exactly where I am. This is important, since, due to my visual disability, I can easily be turned around. I may know the name of the street I'm on, but I might have no clue the name of the nearest cross street. That's where the mobile unit's GPS capability comes in. I may have no idea where I am, but thanks to the mobile unit's GPS capability, the MobileHelp operator knows, and can guide EMS right to me!!!
