I use mobiles.co.uk for their prices. Typically they are cheaper than upgrading via O2 (who are my service provider). It's a bit of a small pain to have to deal via website rather than by phoning up a person, but they deliver promptly and save me money, so it's worthwhile.
This time I accidently bought a new contract rather than ordering an "upgrade" but O2 sorted me out by porting my old number on to the new phone - easy and quick - just phone O2 and request the action.
