Towards the end of my contract I received two emails from my nominated Customer Services Representative. It promised "access to exclusive deals for you as an existing customer of Mobile Phones Direct".
Unfortunately he could not match what was currently on the open market and did not have the authority to better the deal from one of your competitors.
The conversation was pleasant enough, although a bit toothless. The representative knew exactly which deal I mentioned but was unable to match or improve on it. Shame.
