Having spent ages and ages looking for the best deal available Mobiles.co.uk (carphone warehouse apparently) was the best for us on an EE account with an IPhone 6S. very quick and easy and retained my number, sting in the tail was a 1.5% increase in direct debit 2 days after taking out the contract !!! They must have known and I am very disappointed I was not told. There should be a law that prevents this happening in the first place and all increases should be advertised at least 28 days before implementation and NEVER backdated.
