The online purchasing process was pretty smooth. I received the initial delivery comms promptly. However, communication then abruptly stopped and the account order status was set to 'Shipped'. After no further communication, I called customer services and after being passed to four different people, we were able to establish that part of the process to switch my number between providers had failed, and that there was then an inconsistency regarding the account status between different systems. Once identified, the issue was quickly resolved and the order was fulfilled. However, that this issue wasn't identified and addressed by mobiles.co.uk independently and required my involvement before it could be progressed was disappointing and suggests a bit of a failure of detection/reporting.
