I purchased 2 phones, 1 for each of my children and despite passing credit checks for 2 handsets I was told I failed a security check and after phone calls and visits to CPW I was eventually told it was because I'd applied for more than 1 line with Vodafone. There was no offer of of help to sort it out or match the offer with a different provider but told nothing could be done. I eventually managed to purchase a similar offer by going directly to Vodafone, who had no problem with me having 2 lines! The deal was similar but no where near as good as the one I'd signed up to with mobiles.co.uk. There was no mention of this policy regarding 2 lines anywhere on the website or while I went through the purchase process. When I asked for help I was faced with 'computer says no'. Very distressing.
