I purchased a refurbished phone for my mother, when it arrived she had great difficulty transferring her number. She took it into 02 to find out why and they told her that the handset had been marked as stolen! They sold us a stolen phone!
It took two days to even get a straight answer from them, they told us to send it back for a replacement - it took them over a week to send a replacement.
We are yet to receive a explanation as to why we were sold stolen goods, keep being told it’s not their problem.
Absolute con. Have resorted to trading standards.
