Our experience with Moda has been far from what we would expect from a high end product retailer. Delays in supply chain more than doubled the delivery time for our product, and although we can accept that global events beyond the control of the company cannot be helped, the lack of communication and effort made to mitigate our disappointment was unforgivable. Every communication to find out about our order was initiated by us and resulted in disappointment. When we eventually found that our order was ready for shipping, 14 weeks after the full payment was taken, the delivery service called to tell us it would be a further 7 days before we would receive our product. When customer service reps tell you that, 'all they can do is apologise', I completely disagree. One thing you could do is pay for a 24 hr delivery, to get our product to us as fast as you possibly can, not wait another week before you actually send it. To date we are still waiting for 2 pieces from our order, which we are told, 'should' be here within 2 weeks. The last email we received, (in response to our latest complaint), agreed to provide us with a cover for our furniture, which is appreciated but does not make up for the overall experience and general lack of care.
The product, we are happy with and the delivery was executed very well. Damian and Lewis were great, but unfortunately the rest of the experience with Moda would make us think very hard before giving up our money in the future.
All of the bad feeling could have been avoided, if your customer services demonstrated an ounce of care for the customer and how delays of this length would affect them.
