We ordered amazing strong outdoor furniture from this business back in 2017. My sister saw it and ordered the same, again very happy with the furniture. But in its 6th year the cover disintegrated. Called them she said she would quote me VIA email having given me a price, I wasn't convinced this would happen because not sure she understood me, English wasn't her first language. 10 days later nothing. Phoned again just now and again spoke to a chap, clearly English not his first language but persevered as he was doing his best. Apparently as the reviews comment, the business was taken over last year in 2023. He said the 7 year guarantee wasn't being honoured for past customers which I kind of get but still....... He recommended I order from the website using the discount code. . I think he said this because he wasn't confident about taking the order. Used the discount code which is great but having read the reviews for this year think I should go elsewhere because I do have the dimensions now. What a pity because honestly this company were tip top with regards to product. Stay clear unless you go to the showroom, collect, check it over and drive away with it. LOL

Clearly this business has become a scam. Customer a service is a joke, a struggle to speak english, sending wrong items and then doing everything to get out of their responsibilities and try to trample my statutory rights, an absolute joke.

Wrong item supplied. Collected it 17th June but despite promises no refund received. To add insult to injury they have the nerve to take 10% off the refund, but since you don't get a refund it matters not...avoid this company at all costs.

I ordsr two Blue sun loungers, I waited 3 weeks for delievry, when the loungers arroved tehy were grey, I have beenm told several times they will be replaced snd nothung has arroved, I have call cusomer service several times and still no loungers. Very poor customer service.

Ordered a product in march - delivery time at the time of purchases was a week. Informed shortly after purchase that it would be two months to deliver. Cancelled order and requested refund. As it stands on 24th July, i still not have received a refund despite being informed on more than one occasion it has been "processed". Clearly either lying, or incompetent.

This company offers a 7 year guarantee but went bankrupt in July 2023 & customer services told me today that they are not honouring any claims for faulty goods which were purchased prior to July 23. I purchased a half moon set with cantilever parasol which has broken fixings meaning it swings like a pendulum and is highly dangerous. I called to ask if they offered a repair service & there only solution was for me to buy a replacement at full price - I don’t think so. Buyer beware that any guarantee you may receive is absolutely worthless

It's such a shame that Moda's customer service is SO bad. The actual furniture WHEN you get it is very good quality but the delivery promise time is a lie and trying to get hold of anyone on the phone to get a delivery date is impossible with wait times up to 2 hours. When purchasing from Moda the service is good and the staff very helpful but after you've parted with the cash you deal with a call centre in India and it becomes an absolute shambles. I've never given a bad review before but I'm just gobsmacked at how dreadful the communication and customer service has been with Moda, especially after parting with so much money.

ordered our furniture in April - £3500 worth - now nearing July and still have only half the order - the customer service post purchase is shocking. I waited for half an hour to speak to someone in the call centre in India who could not resolve the issue and I asked for a manager to contact me - promised they would - still waiting - truly shocking after sales service

Absolutely appalling customer service. Half my furniture was missing, then faulty, the delivery team confirm they're coming so you stay in all morning & they don;t turn up....... Call queues regularly 50 minutes to talk to them then you get an Indian call centre who talk over you and don't listen to the problem

I have been waiting two weeks from a £2,862 refund from Moda Furnisings having been promised on several occasions and spending hours and hours on the phone. I am taking legal action. Totally unacceptable customer service

I put in an order for Moda Furnishings a couple months ago and they delivered the wrong item. The item I want is now out of stock until April 2025. I have now waited four weeks for someone to collect the incorrect item in spite of being promised it is going to be resolved twice a week! Salva Jamil you ARE NOT a man of your word! Empty promises! MODA = Massive Order Disaster Awaiting. THE WORST COMPANY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

AVOID! Exactly the same as everyone else. The rattan has split significantly and looks terrible, supposed to be UV resistant - clearly not. Contacted Moda and they are not fulfilling the warranty. My story is identical to the hundreds of others. Do not waste your money!

Its gone from bad to worse! Delivered the wrong item and now the item I want is not back in stock until April 2025. The staff are rude and incompetent. They asked me to call them to cancel my order but then said they have to call me back as a manager has to cancel the order. The epitome of everything that is wrong with customer service! NEVER EVER AGAIN will I buy from Moda Furnishings. I will also tell all my friends and family the same!

Beware! Reading reviews it seems I’m not alone. Spent a lot of money with Moda 4 years ago. Now the rattan weave is splitting and breaking up. Clearly not UV resistant. I’ve also been told I cannot claim on my 7 year warranty (which specifically states the weave is covered) due to the recent change of ownership. Very unhappy to say the least. Dodgy company to deal with in my opinion. No doubt the same will happen again leaving customers high and dry. You have been warned :(

Ordered an outdoor Pillar lantern and cover. Was told the cover was out of stock, yet on delivery date, only the cover arrived, despite being contacted to arrange delivery? Still waiting to hear if I will ever get the lantern and sounds like I will be responsible for the costs of returning a cover which I will have no use for!

We bought from the company due to its 7 year guarantee, however when I claimed on this due to sun damage to the rattan after 2 years I was told they now operate under a different name and will not honor it. Avoid buying from this company as the sets do not last and they will not honor their guarantees.

Do not use this company. Invested in furniture to last us but three years in like other reviews it’s falling apart. The seven year warranty is void as the company went into administration in July 2023. Avoid at all costs.

Same as other comments, we bought furniture 2 years ago, it’s all started to split and the company filed for bankruptcy so despite amazingly being bought the following day and continuing to sell identical furniture, our 7 year guarantee appears to be worthless and we have spent £4000 on furniture that isn’t living up to expectations. The quality of their furniture is terrible. It looks good when you get it, it after 2 years outside all the wicker is cracking along all the edges and corners.

Please avoid this company The furniture costs a lot but is not good quality. Ours split within a few months and looks terrible now. The 7 year warranty is useless, they won't honour it. The company has also been in administration after having a massive sale, presumably to get as much money in as possible before shutting down and reopening the next day pretending they are the same company. Some people have lost thousands of pounds with them. It's all very underhand There are plenty of other good reliable suppliers out there, this company is not one of them

COMPANY IN ADMINISTRATION AVOID as they stole everyone’s money knowing this was happening and not honouring any warranties ALL REVIEWS FAKE on trust pilot from 14th July onwards
