If I could give ZERO star, I absolutely would. I purchased a car just one week ago, complete with a fresh MOT and service history. After driving it for only 40 miles, the car suddenly started making a very strange noise. I submitted a claim through the app to have it assessed by a garage, but Momentum Warranty refused my claim, stating it must be due to a worn part. Let me repeat: the car had a fresh MOT, and I drove it for only 40 miles. Yet they expect me to cover the cost myself to have it checked by a garage in order to “further assess” the issue. I’m incredibly relieved I didn’t sign up for their extended warranty because clearly, you can’t rely on their service for anything. It feels like someone is just sitting behind a computer, deciding whether or not your issue is covered, without any real investigation. Even worse, they claimed it’s not a “sudden issue” despite the fact that the noise appeared out of nowhere which is both illogical and frankly, insulting. When I asked to speak with a manager, they refused. I will be escalating this case to Consumer Rights. This experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing, and I feel it's important to warn others before they make the same mistake with this company.
