Cold calling at my door today telling me the internet in the area was “really bad” and the engineers were coming to look at the lines so he was doing a survey. I said the internet wasn’t bad. He asked me what service I was with then how much I was paying. Claimed he wasn’t a salesperson, but he was. Telling me they’d have to dig up the street etc. (Which obviously no one wants so they’re going to answer his questions and say the internet is fine.) very dishonest tactic. I will never use a service Money Expert recommends.
