I had home Insurance through my bank Santander and they put the premium up from £180 to £265 so I cancelled I went online and found that the underwriters with my bank were the same as more than I got a quote with the same policy details for around £100 so was very happy with the savings.
My advise to anybody is do not take any insurance through any bank they hike the costs up always do your research its well worth it.
