I was appalled at the service provided after making a claim for a burst pipe which was located under a concrete floor on the ground floor of the house. I made this claim at the end of june and yet as i write this (19/01/2015), my claim/work has not been finished at all. At 1st when they sent an assesor out, he gave me all the wrong information. Told me i had to rip up all the old flooring, which turned out to be wrong. The floor layers came and told me they couldnt lay the floor as i had no certificate of dryness????? This puzzled me until they told me what was meant to happen and thats where i found out the assesor had giving me all wrong information.....so since end of August i have been waiting for 2 different companies to come out and lift up the remaining flooring that was damaged from the original burst pipe over 6 months ago. I have finally had the kitchen tiles taken up by 1 company called radayr and now i am waiting for another company called "rainbow" to uplift the few remaining tiles in the bathroom/hallway area. This I know will not be done until at the very earliest the end of this month. So therefore tiotalling in over 7months of not being able to use half of the ground floor in my house. Not 1 time during this period has this insurance company contacted me to let me know how things are progressing, i have had to do all this myself and booking in the companys to do this work.....would definately not recomend Go Compare to any family or friends after this shambles.
