Found the car we were after and submitted the request to buy... car was £1000 more than direct with supplier but as we're applying with bad credit, I don't see that as too much of an issue to get what we were after as we'd struggled to get credit elsewhere...
First quibble is that we paid £49 to secure the vehicle to prevent it being sold but then we were told that we needed to set up everything pretty much there or then or the vehicle might go... What is the point in the deposit to secure the vehicle if this is the process? We are still chasing this deposit a week later when it was supposed to be refunded on completion of the sale...
Finance was secured quickly and the deposit was made and vehicle secured and delivered inside 48hrs!
Second quibble is around data accuracy, told them on at least 3 occasions that we wanted the finance over 36 months and repeatedly they referenced 48 months and even referred the application to the Finance company as being 48 months... I was able to rectify this on each occasion but an unnecessary job!
Only other quibbles are around communications, these do seem a tad unnecessarily and overly antiquated... For example, having to confirming things via phone and then also email or vice versa..but being unable to hold for a few minutes to allow the email to be read and send email response whilst on the line so had to await callback or call back 1min later...
Claire was very helpful and the limited involvement with Mehmet (Account Manager) was good.
Happy with the car coming up to a week later with very little after sale issues, although none of these actually reflect on the seller
