The 4 employees I interacted with are why my experience wasn't a complete disaster. I called when my plane was delayed and the man who answered was so helpful and made me feel 100% confident our ride wouldn't be cancelled. When we arrived at Cancun Airport the man who greeted us was so friendly and kept us up to date because there was a sinkhole and he was having trouble getting us a car. After an hour we got the last ride which was no longer private but shared AND the drivers SUV had a broken rear door so he said he couldn't take all of us and our luggage. After 5 minutes my husband asked why we couldn't just pass it through the back over the seats. Thank god they listened and we were finally on our way. The beer on board was a welcome after a 12 hour saga. I will say that this poor Suburban almost couldn't make it up our hotel driveway. He had to back up 3 times before he had enough power to make it. sad. One week later we waited for our driver and Alberto (I apologize I do not have the other 3 gentlemens names) and he called to day he would be 15 minutes late, great communication. What should have been a one hour trip turned into two. The traffic due to the sinkhole is the blame not Alberto. He was hilarious! He had the beer too which was appreciated with the stress of getting to the airport on time. He was super friendly, kept us talking and relaxed. If I got too quiet he would ask if I was okay and then find a fun song on the radio. I hope we go back and can request him.
