I signed up for the subscription and also bought a meat hamper with extras free. The meat hamper was great as most of it went in the freezer. The meat was good especially the rump steaks which were well worth the money. However the subscription wasn?t so good. The meat has short dates so ok for freezing but you have to freeze it on day of arrival to defrost it one or two days later so not practical. Also some of the veg was past its best. Two separate packs had a red onion and both were severely mouldy. This has transferred on to other veg in the pack which was a bit off putting. Some of the other veg does not last 5 days. I was really disappointed as the subscription was ideal but too expensive to be throwing stuff away. I?d recommend buying hampers and other items individually but not the subscription if only for the freshness of the meat and quality of the veg.
