Ordered the hamper along with two small hampers plus eight Uruguayan sirloin steaks. We have tried the bacon medallions which were nice, quite alot of water came out when frying, but it was stated on the packaging. The chicken breast is nice when fried and no water came out which was good. We haven't tried the rest of the hamper meat yet so can't comment on it yet. We did have two of the Uruguayan steaks and were a bit disappointed, I cooked them on a griddle for 3 minutes on each side and two minutes on the fatty edge. I let them rest for 8 minutes covered with foil. They did look great, but when cutting with a steak knife they were tough as old boots and very chewy. I managed to eat mine with great difficulty but my wife couldn't get on with it at all and had to leave it. The meat did taste good but was far too chewy. I'm going to tenderise the next two steaks to see if that helps. Also when decanting the meat out of the box, when I got to the bottom one of the chicken breast bags had split on one side so chicken juice had seeped out. It's no biggy we just put it in another bag. Update. We have tried the sausages in a casserole, we fried them first to brown and virtually no fat or water came out. The casserole was nice so I would recommend these. We have tried the heritage steaks and again even after tenderising they were tuff, so disappointed. Tried the meatballs yesterday and were impressed. Browned in the pan with no water or very little fat came out. Served with Passata and spaghetti, meal was a success.
